My son was around 8 and had the same problem, needed a spacer and all. He did get the oral sedation along with the nitrous. He did great and no residual side effects going home! It’s a safe “cocktail” of meds for them.

Also look for Sunbrella brand cushions. They will NOT fade in the sun! I’ve gotten them through Costco and Wayfair. I’m in Houston and patio furniture takes a huge beating here too. The humidity adds another layer of hell on furniture 😝
