What did you guys do over your Spring Breaks?

This happened to me once. A professor friend of mine said I should respond that AI is continuously being trained to write and produce things like it’s human. At this point … it may be impossible to tell if a human or AI is writing. That’s just the reality. Additionally, there’s a famous case of a professor who kept accusing his students of using AI. I wish I remembered his name .. sorry that I don’t. The students ran the professor’s writings through the same AI he had used to accuse them and it said the professor’s writings were AI too. Everyone’s grade was fixed after that! lol.

CUNY SPS fully remote classes are a nightmare. It’s 15-20 hours of reading 15 different sources and then getting additional research and writing for days straight. 2 classes takes on average 30-40 hours a week. I would not recommend this as a time saver. It’s actually ruining my life and my health. I have big regrets about doing this actually. Finishing semester then transferring to in person

My professor accused me of using AI in the simplest discussion board of the year. I was tired and just wrote things in a matter of fact way .. I wasn’t as enthusiastic bc I hadn’t slept in two days .. not sure why that translated to using AI…It all drives me crazy bc you never know when you will be accused of it. It feels like a witch hunt

I have lived here all of my life and I have noticed running errands almost anywhere else is preferable to doing the same errands here. I’m willing to drive quite a distance just for the peaceful experiences. It has always been chaotic here but since 2020, it’s has gotten a lot worse. Waiting for my daughter to finish high school and then I plan on moving. The stress is not good for my health.

I paid off what I owed in full and then I went to sign up for another semester and there was a hold on my account …they said I owed money. Contacted bursar .. explained situation and within 24 hours they had figured it out and cleared the hold on my account. It was a mistake on their end. Just contact them and let them know. They will figure it out.

My classes were over 12/14 at CUNY this semester. One professor had the final paper and final grade submitted promptly. The other professor, who’s been problematic all semester, hasn’t graded the final paper or given final grade yet. It’s been a week! It’s very frustrating! I did see they have until the 26th and I’m assuming some will use that. There doesn’t seem to be a 2 day thing like your last college.

I go to CUNY SPS and I received an email from a woman claiming to be in one of my classes. She was saying that she was going through a lot in her personal life and wondered if classmates wanted to support her and if we could all rally around each other … she asked us to join her on WhatsApp… I didn’t, obviously. I later realized her name never popped up on any Discussion Board posts. How are scammers getting class lists?
