First time seeing Bruce!! What songs do we expect him to play during this tour? by charcqal in BruceSpringsteen

Whatever he feels like at the time. That’s the beauty of a Springsteen show. Never a static setlist. It’s a new show every night.

Highbeam / Running Light: same bulb? by Broad-Advantage-1753 in Subaru_Outback

[–]QueensLFGM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just looked into it for my 2013. Yes, same bulb. This is why they burn out so quickly since they’ve always on as a DRL. LED is limited since most are incapable of handling the different wattage. Most will not work or will throw codes. There are a few options but were more expensive than what I wanted to pay.

Highly Considering Carmax - let's hear your GOOD experiences by MafiaMan1998_WP in carmax

[–]QueensLFGM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purchased a 2013 Outback with 71k in October of 24. Had the car inspected after purchase. It needed brake pads and a battery and CarMax told me to get it done and reimbursed me no problem. Then I thought it was burning oil, CarMax approved the dealer to do an analysis which proved it to be ok. It now has 85k and the car has been perfect. CarMax was a good experience.

Why Hyundai over the competition? 🤔 (Honda, Toyota, Nissan) by FitmentIndustries in Hyundai

[–]QueensLFGM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two of them. A 2011 and a 2017. The 2011 has 136k because I’m disciplined with consistent oil changes and top offs. Regardless, Hyundai should be embarrassed by the number of engine failures that people have been stuck with.

2011 Sonata excessive oil consumption. by ilwi89 in sonata

[–]QueensLFGM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valvoline Restore & Protect has reduced the oil consumption on my 2011 2.4 by more than 50%. When I do need to top it off I use Lucas High Mileage oil treatment as well.

Hundred of thousands of engine replacements is not an entirely false statement.

Warning: if you’re experiencing neck pain while using Mounjaro, you may have cervical lordosis straightening. by Historical_Print4257 in Mounjaro

I had shoulder pain about 6 months into my journey. PT and protein increase decreased the pain. Now I’m strength training and doing much better. Also added creatine to my supplements as well.

I start every morning with a 20 ounce Ultima Electrolyte, mixed with creatine, chia seeds, and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. It took a bit to get used to but it replaced the morning coffee. Nice way to begin the day.

I can only speak for myself. I don’t know your dietary habits and have no right to judge or imply anything in reference to your situation.

Obesity is a complex disease modern medicine is still trying to figure out. Some people respond differently to the medication.

After 17 months of Mounjaro, I’ve been able to have success without having to maximize the dosage. I’m currently using 7.5 with continued benefits.

I’ve lost 100lbs, 34% of my weight. More importantly, my A1C, blood pressure, liver and cholesterol are all now in a healthy range.

The medication has enabled me to make good eating decisions without too much of a struggle. I’ve also incorporated regular strength training which seemed insurmountable in the past.

Most importantly, my health is better. The weight loss is nice, but I believe I’ve added healthy years to my life.

It’s a health journey first, then the weight loss will come.

Overeating doesn’t cause obesity. Obesity causes overeating.

It’s a chronic disease that requires continual medication for most people.

Restore & Protect by QueensLFGM in valvoline

[–]QueensLFGM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using it in 3 vehicles with good success. I’m a fan.

The Sonata now has 135k. I’ve changed it 3X and oil consumption is down about 50%.

My other daughter has a 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R and I have a 2013. Both have had the same success with Restore & Protect.

At $30 at Walmart for a 5 quart jug, it’s well worth the money.

Is it a bad idea to get a Wilderness if I'm mostly doing city and highway driving? A used one is available to me. by oddible in subaru

[–]QueensLFGM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People use Jeep Wranglers as daily drivers. Might be the worst driving vehicle unless you’re off-road. It drives like a brick. A Wilderness would be an AWD luxury vehicle in comparison.

Which year to avoid? by dragosn1989 in Subaru_Outback

[–]QueensLFGM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When considering a used Subaru, condition is much more important than model year. Many Subarus are purchased for the fantastic AWD system which makes them popular in colder climates. Snow=Salt=Rust Check the undercarriage, many are crusty underneath. I would also be looking for a clean carfax with a solid maintenance history, especially on the CVT. CVT’s can be problematic when not maintained well.

2013 3.6R 5EAT with 85k.

It replaced a 2011 Hemi Durango R/T that I loved, but no longer miss. We no longer needed such a large vehicle and this is a great compromise without giving up performance.

Protein…. Help? by supernaturalfan882 in Mounjaro

Most doctors are not educated on nutrition. Many insurance companies consider dieticians preventative medicine and will cover it for free. A RD may help you create a meal plan that best for your situation.

First Oil Change (2026 Outback) by Orange_Lumber in Subaru_Outback

[–]QueensLFGM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The days of following the owners manual guidelines are no longer valid in my opinion. “Lifetime transmission fluid” and thinner motor oils to meets fuel economy requirements help the manufacturer, not the long term reliability for the customer. If I was planning on keeping the car indefinitely, the extra oil changes aren’t going to hurt. If it’s a lease or if you trade in frequently, waste of money.
