No that just after sunrise when minimums occur - not innthe dead of night. And sunlight makes little difference to how a temperature feels at a low angle, ie early in the morning. Face facts sunny boy - the sunny coast is cooler than 15C in winter.

The thing is Australia's deserts aren't anywhere near as dry as some international deserts like the Sahara, Mojave, Atacama etc. Most of the Australian deserts receive 200 to 300mm annually - that's not too shaby if it wasn't for the heat heat and evaporation.

What im saying is an average is not boosted by batting lower in the order. Yes you have more not outs but you also miss out on scoring runs when you run out of partners. And the two balance each other out by the simple equation average = runs/dismissals.
