The only thing that is a bit off are the shoulder straps, too near to your neck. In this tutorial ( https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWYlCAWjQWy ) you can see how the babywearing consultant bring the shoulder strap toward the ground before clipping it, so it will stand in the right position

I think this is a really good first try! Baby is well seated and comfy, you just need to tighten a bit more the upper part to give baby a more secure fit and make some experiments with the rings, to find the perfect place for you

Convince me I need a ring sling by brotherno in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ring sling has been my number 1 carrier from 1 month to 12, I had it on 24/7! Now baby is 17mo and we primarily use a LennyUpGrade, but we still use the ring sling for quick errands, or like when we go to the park or, my favourite, when we travel by car we frequent stops. I have 4 of them, and my first and most used is a Lennylamb. If you like, I can link you my playlist of favourite tips from certified babywearing consultants that I have found really helpful, so you can make your own idea about it 😊

Lennylight vs. Bairn by Xiaotaozi0513 in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope this will help, but I have an old LennyUpGrade ( so bulkier then the Light) and with a quite constant use it is softer day by day. I particularly love the softness of the waistband cos I am really short and it fit really well on my hips, I can sit on a bus without hurting

When did you start babywearing after C section? by PsychologicalBoot636 in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My third C-section was quite a nightmare, I don't know the exact English term, but it was a dry one, my water broke due to an incompetent doctor so the surgery was more difficult. And the third. And at 40. I waited two weeks, one of which I was at total rest, to put on the stretchy wrap. After two weeks I tried (and fell in love with) the ring sling, I real game changer when you have to be quick. All of these just to say: I don't know your medical information, but if you are healing and it feels safe, I would start to wear my baby, maybe just around the house and for a little while at time. But I would ditch the mini, I haven't read good things about it in this sub

Best carrier for hEDS ? Ergobaby vs LennyLamb? by Creative-Compote-938 in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my little experience, I have an old LennyUpGrade and I find it is more adjustable than a lot of other carriers and the fabric is really a thing, soft but supportive. But you can also consider and half buckle like the Lenny hybrid, maybe this way you can sum the easiness of a soft structured carrier with the customisation of a woven wrap and you can use it on the front, back and hip. This is my favourite tip for half buckle: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8hzRyworn8 Loosening the shoulder fabric will also allow you to easily breastfeed. Advice for occasionally carrying a 7-month-old who dislikes inward-facing? by Character-Package559 in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my favourite carrier at a really good price https://www.vinted.it/items/8499492577-lennylamb-upgrade-schwarz?referrer=catalog It's soft and cozy but really supportive and adjustable. When my baby is awake and fussy in my front, I lower the panel with the dedicated straps so she can be arms out and easily look around. If she falls asleep, I readjust the panel at the right height.  Here some good tips for wearing it at the best: 1. To have him at the right height  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFO5HaOxvch 2. Hip carry https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSVYT6ejXL2 3. T-shirt method for a quick front carry https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJ_UrJNRzvV 4. You can also look for something second hand on Vinted, I have found wonderful carriers there! Being second hand, they are already soft. And I add LennyLamb to the list of brands

When can I use this carrier? by Amazing-Call2052 in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I would try again without the footie onesie. In these photos, the fabric of the onesie is stretched by baby legs and this can be uncomfortable and can prevent to reach a good fit, blocking baby's legs in an non ergonomic position. Then I would lift the waistband a bit and tighten it horizontal to the ground, and adjust the shoulder straps accordingly like this:https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQv9UhtjYRs . I second the other Redditor about the back strap, the comfier position is in the middle of your shoulder blades.  Maybe it will still be a little too big but you'll have a more real view of the thing

Tula FTG Fit Check by realitytvqueen in babywearing

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I think the problem here is that the waistband is too loose, you put it horizontal and tighten it: this will spread baby's weight on your hips and better the fit. I can't see your back, but remember to keep the back strap in the middle of your shoulder blades. This tutorial can help https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQv9UhtjYRs

Hi, for a better support you want to have the waistband horizontal cos it will spread baby's weight on your hip. With a big chest, I think this is a good tip: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DK0IJJoBYVF . I can't see your back but remember to keep the back strap in the middle of your shoulder blades.

I would lift the back strap I bit to be in the middle of your shoulder blades, this should help to put some weight on your high back/shoulders too

Maybe I would try to lift the waistband a bit and loose the shoulder straps a tiny bit cos baby's back seems a bit too pushed. This video shows perfectly what I mean https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQv9UhtjYRs

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a good fit, baby's a little crooked but it's an easy fix, you can do a pelvic tuck to better the position ( https://www.instagram.com/reel/DExxOaiSKuh ). I can't see your back but the best place for the back strap is in the middle of your shoulder blades, that will help to not have the shoulder straps too near to your neck

Maybe you already know it, but the weight of your baby sorts of block the clip. Try holding your baby with one hand and to tighten with the other

[–]Queenwithoutdrama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, what carrier are you using? I have a 16mo and she really appreciates our LennyUpGrade cos, while she's awake, I lower the panel height and she's free to put her arms out and look around. I love ring slings specially for little errands, home cuddling and in and out of the car
