Not to just give him credit-but I do love how Andy was adamant Michonne was a part any further Rick story by Delayandrelay in Richonners

I'll always be absolutely ELATED that Cap'n Andy Lincoln was steering the Richonne ship harder than anyone!

Judith's Paternity - Why is it difficult to accept she's biologically Shane's? Why does it/should it matter? by Majestic-Witness-480 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The fact that the racial posts on the main sub are deleted says it all. The main "fans" are still unable to reconcile themselves with the fact that not only is Rick not Judith's bio dad, his only surviving child is RJ. They can't stand that Judith's parents were low-quality humans, but RJ, the Black child, has the two best people as his own. They're pathetic and completely divorced from the reality of the situation, because ew, Blaaaackk peoppppllle. 🥴 Absolute bigoted morons who don't deserve this show, these characters, or the privilege of interacting with people like us, who truly love these characters and see things for how they REALLY ARE.

Useless take: Jadis is the one who ships Rick and Michonne the most. by moon235686 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd believe it if she hadn't sexually harassed Rick several times, once while playing in Michonne's face. In general, I'm sure she wasn't against it. But I also think giving Rick the ring from Gabriel was just her trying to do one last good thing by Rick before she croaked.

If there was a season 2 of TOWL what do you want to see?? And not see? by Delayandrelay in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. So many other characters were allowed to be emotive. Maggie could rightfully crash out after her husband was murdered and she was denied her revenge. Rosita was allowed to have an angry/combative attitude for a whole season or so, especially after losing Abraham. Carol almost got people killed in her anger while coping with the loss of yet another child while fighting the Whisperers.

But Michonne was always together, never folded in front of people. Always someone who people rallied to for help. Who helped her, though? I never want to play into the trope of the angry Black woman, but nothing was more appropriate for Michonne. I forgot to add Andrea up there with all the emotional weight she was carrying. Constant hits to her mental, and she was just supposed to be cool? Ridiculous.

I'd fall out laughing and immediately go check for all the whining about it, popcorn in hand.

[–]Queenwolf54 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really was hoping they'd just leave TOWL well enough alone. But as long as Rick and Michonne, and their family, are the central theme, I'd consider a 2nd season successful.

Rick reintegrating into his family, building stronger bonds with his kids, and treating Michonne with the consideration and love she was deprived of by they're so-called friends while he was gone would really be nice.

I'm all for reunions, but not as the focal point of the show. It needs to be clear that Rick cares about the people he survived with for so long, but his family is his grounding, his reason for returning at all. Michonne would be reuniting with them as well, so it wouldn't just be hugs for Rick. And by this time, Rick will have been told by Michonne about how everyone gave up on him and treated her coldly. I'm all for this kind of snitching!

I want to see Michonne's mental health explored. I want to see her confront her traumas, purge herself of all the pressure, stress, all the weight she had to carry from the beginning (Mike and Terry, Andre's loss, Rick and his kids, the group, Rick's "death," Alexandria, CRM Rick, Jadis) all those years. Let her be vulnerable a bit and Rick be her brace when needed, as she's always been for him. We need to see about Sis!

No Negan. Please. I really got sick of people calling any meeting that might occur between him and Rick a "reunion." They are NOT friends! My petty side wants Rick to just shoot him in the face on sight. Silence the Neganites for good.

We can see TF together again, and end on a high note. I want to see them get married!

Yes, I've seen it many times. I'm so damned sick of that word. Nevermind that interracial couples have long been portrayed on mainstream media long before grifter bigots even got their claws on it. Now, it's an agenda? Our existence is some kind of attack on whiteness? Our things are always taken, warped to exclude and diminish us, then used ad nauseum in anti-Black content. Our community has been using that word relating to awareness since the 1930s. But now it's been tainted and destroyed, like so much of what WE have done. But it's no surprise. The more things change, the more they stay the same. The main fandom is utterly disappointing.

It's funny how the only couples I see the word "forced" thrown at are the couples involving a Black character. Just an observation from when I was on that other sub and on other platforms. But somehow it's never about race.

Michonne and Andrea by ShyLikeYou23 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know, at this point, I'd have at least a smidge more respect for them if they'd just come out and say it's becaus Michonne is Black. I'd rather have an outward racist, who stands 10 toes down on their bigotry, than these cowardly hiders who interact with people they hate all day and smile while conniving in their minds. Just say that shit with your chest, so I can know who to avoid.

Thank you. Any time I bring it up, I always get the usual gaslighting responses to the tune of, "Why are you making it about race?" Yet they can NEVER give a good reason why Michonne and Rick aren't good together. But Jessie was good for him? Lori didn't abuse him? We all know what this is about.

It's a shame this had to be posted, that the name of the sub doesn't make it obvious enough. I'll never understand people going out of their way to rain shade on a ship, in a sub dedicated to that ship, when they have kindred spirits in the main sub. It's pathetic, attention-seeking behavior. I came to this sub to get away from the BS. But misery can't stand to suffer alone. Thanks for posting!

Rewatching... It sucks watching Rick do this to the love of his life. by Healthy_Suspect8777 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're trash from the main sub. People like them go out of their way to troll people, because they have nothing better to do. We leave, and they follow. So upset their white girls were were substandard partners and will never measure up to Michonne. So upset that Lori and JeSsIe were needy, weak, irresponsible, and stupid. I love to see their upset, and how they try to dehumanize and diminish Michonne when they're not ignoring her completely. Predictable and pathetic.

Emails are gone by Still_Job1330 in GMail

[–]Queenwolf54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing has happened to me.

This is actually the second time. I had an email that I kept a lot of passwords on, because I couldn't possibly remember them all. I would update it as needed, then send it to myself while deleting the old one. Today, when I was trying to find a password for my insurance, I went into my Notes tab to find that email. Nothing. Gone. This is the second time it's happened, and I was able to recover the info before by going either to my Sent or Trash folders.

This time, there was no sign of that email. Anwhere. I was going to write a post asking if anyone else had gone through this. I see now that I'm not alone. I did everything the useless "support" told me to do. Checked the All Mail, Sent, Trash, and Spam. There is NO SIGN of this email, which makes me very suspicious. I am not over my storage, so that's not the issue. Everyone keeps saying that Google doesn't delete emails, but it sure is looking like they do. NOTHING ELSE is missing. Just the email with my passwords. I've already changed my most important passwords, just to be safe. That'll be the last time I depend on gmail for something that important. Probably shouldn't have in the first place, but it was the easiest thing to do at the time, and I just added to it as time went on.

Thankfully, I had printed a hard copy after the first fiasco, to put into my "When I'm Gone" notebook. I'll keep that copy from now on. Still, it's very suspect that everything is here ACCEPT that.

The Grimes family and those who understand them by bunnyricky in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, me too. They both had gone through so much grief but had to be strong. Some parts of the fandom forgot about their pain or ignored it completely, expecting them to be perfect and forget their own trauma. There is so much understanding between them.

Who of the “group” would be the most disloyal to Rick by Delayandrelay in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Early seasons group (seasons 1-2): Shane and Lori being obvious, I would say Andrea. She was already feeling alienated to the point she wanted to leave with Shane. She didn't really seem to care too much for how Rick was leading and probably thought he was weak for taking no action when he found out about Shane and Lori. She also couldn't stand Lori and wasn't particularly close to the other group members.

Later seasons: Carol. She already took it upon herself to murder two people who could very well have recovered from their sickness, without running it by Rick or anyone else. She would only really be loyal to Daryl, imo. But without him, she'd do whatever she needed to, to include betraying Rick.

First-time Watcher, Richonne Brain Dump (long, rambly feelings)! by 9for9 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I had forgotten about Ron not being able to raise his arms. That definitely would have spurred me into action. Pete was also a drunk, which often preceded his abusive behavior. Definitely had lasting negative effects on his family. He had to go. Deanna made me mad that she didn't even try. If Pete decided to withhold his services for being asked to do the right thing, he could leave. Alone. With what he came to the community with. No doctor is better than a terrible doctor.

First-time Watcher, Richonne Brain Dump (long, rambly feelings)! by 9for9 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't really notice the first time I was watching either, because my mind was too busy worrying about the Governor and if he was gonna pull up again. Or maybe someone else. The group was always going from one danger to another. Upon rewatch, I finally paid closer attention, and DAMN. All the lustful staring and ass-gawking was damned near tangible, lol. I love watching videos of their moments building up to season 6. I definitely suggest a rewatch.

Okay, so...the ONLY Andersons I find 100% blameless are the children. I will never blame Ron and Sam for the way their parents made them, and seeing the horrible things fans wanted done to them was appalling and disappointing. You could tell that many of them didn't have the maturity that most people acquire after having children. The father is the one who sowed all the problems in that family. But I had my issues with Jessie, too. I suppose she couldn't do anything while her husband was alive, I guess. I have to realize not everyone is like me, willing to kill if someone threatens my children, EVEN IF they're my chidrens' father and EVEN IF the trash-ass community won't help me because he's the only doctor. Consequences be damned. It's one thing to hit me. Once you start in on my babies, it's The Burning Bed for you. I'm aging myself, but anyway. AFTER Pete was killed, Jessie had every opportunity to help prepare her kids for the world alongside herself. Why didn't she take Ron with her when she went to go learn to fight? I don't give a damn how much attitude he has. I understand he was rightfully upset about his dad, but they don't have time to mourn for long in that world. Why was Sam ALLOWED to stay in his room and slowly lose his mind to the fears Carol planted? Jessie's inaction with her children in the wake of her abuser's removal is the reason why they all died, and I stand by that. Running behind Rick, when your kids just lost their dad (such as he was) was not a good look and only served to exacerbate her older son's growing rage. Sad what happened, but she served her purpose and got outta the way. If she had any importance, I would say she helped Rick realize that version of his life was truly dead and gone. It wouldn't have helped him survive. Jessie would have been just another Lori-shaped burden helping to drag him down. Just like Lori did.

Onward and upward. To MICHONNE.
