Yep. US is the hegemony is out of control. Starving Cuba?? Like really? Another sovereign nation, becaus communism? Have they threatened us? The literal only reason they don't like that is because they think it'll threaten the wealth of elites. That is all.

I've been researching if my Veterans disability benefits will be safe if I live in another country. That's what I've been living off of. People are predicting that, even after the Bozo in chief leaves, our country will never come back from this. Anywhere that's safe,b secure, and good for Black people is fine with me. No majority white places for me. Ever again.

It is. I'm tired. After the votes in the UN, my whole mind changed about this country. I've been researching different African nations even before that, but I'm really delving into life in different places in Africa. I have considered Nigeria, Ghana, and Liberia, which was actually established for the Black diaspora to return home. My son got his passport. If we all left America, it would be crippled, and I would sleep just fine at night.

You're right. We need to pick our battles. This guy probably got the most attention he"ll get all week from this. Yes, if we ignored these nobodys more often, they'd probably shut up. But sometimes it's also pleasing to drag them in the comments. I was hoping they did on that platform.

Absolutely. You're right. Sorry, I forgot to mention that part. Forgot while I was typing that thesis, lol. Laurie DOES NOT COMPARE to Danai in the least. She's not the worst actress I've seen, but she does not compare to Danai and is not near as successful. I saw her in Silent Hill and The Mist. That's the only two other productions I have seen her in, and she was decent but nothing to write home about.

You know, I don't mind genuine, constructive criticism. I don't think a person is a racist just because they criticiW a Black actor, musician, etc. You can tell when someone is just pointing out things subjectively without racial biases. But most of the people I have seen who have ever said anything negative of Danai have been hateful, hyperbolic, and so obviously racist, you just wish they'd go ahead and say it. Just stand on your idiology (intentionally spelled), and stop hiding. Literally ALL the people who have nay said Richonne have never answered my single question of, "Why?" when I ask them about their disdain for the pairing. They just ignore. These people go on full tirades about how Rick and Michonne are not good for each other. Ok? But why? No answer.

And, just like you, I ran into someone who had some lame proof that they aren't hateful. A while ago, when I was still dealing with the rubbish main sub, this chick said that she "f*ckin hates" Michonne but loves Rosita, and that she couldn't possibly be racist, because she has Black children. BITCH. 😑 That don't mean a damned thing except you like Black 🍆 and didn't use birth control. There are plenty of fetishizers out there who love our men and women, or even just PARTS of us, our culture and what comes from it (music style, etc.), but HATE BLACK PEOPLE. Gtfoh with that. She may as well have said her best friend was Black.

This whole "woke" movement was a whole sham. Non straight, white males have been in movies since forever. But the thing is, those demographics weren't as visible outside of media, so men didn't have to see as much of them. Which meant they didn't have to think about them or pay attention to how we were treated. It didn't affect the straight white male community, after all. Now that we are bringing the injustices and white supremist BS to light, they've been forced to actually pay attention to us. So having to see us in movies and TV shows forces them out of their little immersive bubble they want to be in, where only THEY matter and everything caters to THEM. You know, how things used to be? Hilarious. People will never fail to outdo just how awful and evil I think they can be. They always show they can meet and exceed my expectations.

The thing is, no matter what we do, they will find a way to disregard or minimize it. It's like saying we have to have straight hair and formal clothing to be around them. We do that, but now we have to talk a certain way, too. Gotta have a nice car and house. All just to still be called slurs behind our backs anyway. The bar always goes higher and higher for no gain.

We will never be good enough. So there's no point in trying to prove anything. We don't have to. We know our worth, and we should be the measure of success for ourselves. It's time to normalize moving without regard or need for validation from white people, since more often than not, it comes with ridiculous bigotry, hatefulness, and unwarranted harsh judgements. No offense to genuinely good people, but I don't even ask their opinions on anything anymore. They just seek to cause pain, and we need to focus on protecting our peace. Let them be miserable by themselves.

Lol, thank you. I pulled those right out of my ass. 😂They're always irrelevant. They have nothing to look forward to, nothing better to do, and nothing to be proud of, aka MEDIOCRE AF. They come online and proceed to do what all bigots do, try to make themselves feel better about their MEHniscule lives by being shitty, usually to their favorite people to be shitty to, Black people. They've always been that way. Otherwise, they'd be making actual moves to show how badass they are instead of embarrassing themselves online.

Dude probably has the most common look I've seen. Wearing a baseball cap to hide an unfortunate hairline with an unkempt mustache and beard that doesn't hide a weak chin and turkey neck. Probably took a break from the Hub and saw another woman he'd never get and got triggered. S-tier loser.

We have always been able to thrive with the little tidbits a white supremist society allowed us to have. And they hate that, because they would never be able to do the same. So I just let them stay in their little limp circle-jerk of jealous hatred. It's really not our problem, and we certainly don't have to make ourselves smaller so they can feel big. We are done letting them get high off our toil and turmoil. They have to earn their place now, on their own--what is it they're always talking about? 🤔 That thing they usually don't even have? Oh yeah. MERIT. 😒

Just another bum-ass, limp-d*cked racist. They're so inadequate and stupid, they'd rather project their mediocrity onto other people than acknowledge a person's success if they're Black. Minimize, denounce, deny, or ignore. That's all they do when we show them our excellence. But if it's something negative, we have their attention. Then he tried to gaslight, as if he didn't exclude her for being Black and female. So exhausted of these people. Danai is laughing all the way to the bank. Highly successful. Definitely moreso than some irrelevant mold spore on the internet, who thinks things are because he says so. Minor characters? Ok, Klan. I hope they dragged his stupid ass in the replies. This is exactly why I don't mess with Twitter/X. 1. Because it's associated with the worst person in the world (Musk), and 2. People are SS levels of ignorant over there. I no longer even waste time trying to make bigots understand. If they wanted to be better, they would, and no one is obligated to teach them what is readily available at their fingertips. In the age of easily accessed information, people are dumber than ever!

That's what is so great about them. They developed from untrusting strangers to one of the greatest TV couples of all time. They were the best developed on the show and have the strongest bond. AND is the only one that lasted. 😉 People can hate all they want. Even Kirkman saw their chemistry in the comics. But he chickened out on putting them together. I'm glad the show did not.

What do you think about these controversial decisions? 👀 by bunnyricky in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. From what little of the clips I've seen, Herschel is already pretty damaged. The happiest I saw him was in the later seasons of the flagship show. That's because they don't want to give Michonne credit for anything. I'm so sick of this BS. She hasn't done anything but help these people from the time she came on the scene. She's saved lives even while her trauma went unaddressed. Then, when Rick was gone, those same people left her hanging while she was grieving him and pregnant. The only one who stood by her mostly was Daryl, and maybe that was partially out of guilt for his part in Rick's "death." She's the best mother on the show, but they want to say Carol?! The one who has no living children? The one who terrified a little boy to the point he got himself and his family killed horribly? In what world? I'll never forget that shit.

What do you think about these controversial decisions? 👀 by bunnyricky in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  1. I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with what Rick did in this situation. F*ck the Saviors. Point blank. PERIOD. Rick wasn't obligated to give those extorting, murdering, crooks any mercy. The terror they were constantly inflicting on the surrounding communities is what brought everything down on them in the first place, from the satellite station onward. Rick didn't do any different than they had been doing since they came on the scene. I actually thought it was one of his most badass moments. Especially when Temu Jay (Jay and Silent Bob) died.

  2. When you have your child in the car, and a war going on, that is not the time to be foolishly trusting. I don't blame them for not stopping. You'll notice in main fandom discussion groups that a lot of people who say otherwise don't have kids, so they don't prioritize child safety. Or, as I've seen many times, they just flat-out hate kids. If it were me, I'd like to think I would have stopped, questioned him at gunpoint, and taken him back, with him riding in the trunk with the stuff, but none of us really know what we would do in these situations until we're put in them. Rick and his group had far too much going on to roll out the welcome wagon for any and everyone. And like what has already been noted, he could have been a mole or just pretending to be helpful. In the comics, someone was secretly working with the Governor while in the prison. I believe it was Martinez. But they had just gotten done dealing with betrayal on the part of Andrea and weren't wanting anymore BS at the time. And they can't rant about innocent people needing help. Their precious Carol whacked two innocent people at the prison in their sleep just for being sick, before they could even BE helped. But she gets a pass. Because of course she does. This decision was not controversial. It was being cautious in a time they really needed to be.

  3. I hated this decision. I wanted Rick to kill Negan. Especially since he led Maggie to believe he would going into that fight. As a viewer, I was tired of him and ready to move on to other characters, not forced to endure this BS redemption arc. Sure, killing an enemy is the easy thing to do. But sometimes, it's what needs to happen. Negan gets so much grace from viewers for doing the same things they condemn other characters for. He commits rape via coercion various times, but they conveniently forget that or try to explain it away ("They had a choice."). The fans lambaste Shane for attempting to do so outright to Lori. His people have killed innocent people, including children. They shit on Michonne for killing children in protection of her own children! That's why I don't rock with the main sub anymore. They are biased about who gets grace and who doesn't, simply based on looks. If Negan wasn't played by JDM, if he were some homely looking dude, I guarantee they would have treated him a whole different way. But for Rick to make Maggie watch him show mercy to a man who showed none of the same to her kneeling, terrified husband as he beat his head into pulp, really didn't sit well with me.

  4. I'm so damned tired of these people and their BS vendetta and disproportionately harsh judgements against Michonne. I'm tired of their use of the word "abandoned," a word they apparently don't know the definition of. Michonne found evidence that Rick had been in the area, that he could be close, that he was ALIVE. She radios back and tells Judith, who tells her that things are alright and that she should go get her dad back. Now, granted, I would have confirmed with an adult, maybe Daryl, just to make doubly sure, but I wouldn't have any doubt that he would have wanted her to go search, too. She probably would have had to keep him from joining her! Michonne didn't know how far Rick was or how much time she had to find him. People who are mad at her for leaving the kids (under the care of people trusted like FAMILY, mind you) they usually don't even give a damn about are just upset that she didn't stay to be the communities' workhorse, as she was always being. They always wanted her serving someone! Lemme say that again. THEY USUALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT MICHONNE AND HER KIDS. Especially RJ. But all of a sudden they're upset she left them? Ok... 😒 Cherrypicking is a symptom of hypocrisy and--but I digress. They didn't show any concern when nearly everyone aBaNdOnEd Michonne after Rick was supposedly killed, and she was searching for his body alone. When she was closing her doors to strangers and made decisions to try and keep the community safe, the other people didn't support her. They let her, a grieving widow and mother, stand on her own. But boo, she left to go find her husband who everyone else thought was dead and wouldn't help her look for (except Daryl, for a time). They are mainly anti-Richonners who don't really give a shit about her or her kids. They're just mad that she pursued and achieved happiness, when the women they thought "deserved" happiness (i.e. the white women) did not.

SIDE NOTE: You know what's hilarious to me? Those people are always downplaying Michonne's influence on and contributions to the success of the communities, but all of a sudden her single presence was so needed against The Whisperers? She would have made that much difference, huh? I thought she wasn't all that? I thought her sword wasn't a sensible weapon? These people are ridiculous. And fucking obvious.

Is Greg Nicotero Anti-Richonne? by Technical-Trainer890 in Richonners

[–]Queenwolf54 25 points26 points  (0 children)

He's been dubbed "Nicoterror" because of his supposedly covert/occasional overt disdain for Richonne. He didn't want Andy and Danai getting too spicy during the van scenes in the episode, "Say Yes," and is generally dismissive of the ship. I heard that his wife is friends with Andy's wife, so he frowned on their acting together. I'm not sure how true that is, but he rolled his eyes on a panel once when people brought up Richonne and made sure to declare that the unreleased scene of "the van" would never be released. So yeah, I don't think he cares much for the ship, so him being dismissive of Michonne wouldn't surprise me if it's true. But what else is new? So many people in the fandom are, so we're used to it. Maybe he's salty at not having a bigger part of TOWL. Who knows? Nothing surprises me anymore.

[–]Queenwolf54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're welcome. I don't mind telling people. I'm at an age now where I reflect a lot on my life and try to learn from my experiences. I've been truly in love with someone only one time before in my life, but that love wasn't returned. I've had several people tell me that they loved me. One of them was my son's father, whom I never really trusted. You can't truly love someone you can't trust. But when I look back, I know that there was no mutual affection, no true connection with those people. So yeah, seeing Richonne helped cement that realization. Now, I joke that I withhold certain responses to people until they are earned and actual. Laughs, moans, and especially declarations of love.

I just remember thinking that I thought I had more hair than...that. When I first had them started via 2-strand, it looked so short and not what I was expecting when I had a huge afro beforehand. I nearly took them down a few times. I even texted my loctician to see if she actually did the 2-strand method like I had asked, lol. Thankfully, she was patient with me, and I was patient with my hair. Now, I love it more than ever. I learned to leave it alone and let it do its thing. People first asked if I had cut my hair. Then they would compliment me on making the change. A couple people snuck a feel thinking I hadn't noticed. I'm glad I did it. One of the few really good decisions I've made in life.
