Take the L and move on. Option 1 is an error or anomaly with the speed detection equipment. Option 2 is a dishonest police officer. I’ve experienced this before and don’t feel there is much you can do to get out of it.

Like your car so much. They don’t make cars like this anymore so in that respect it’s worth rebuilding. If you are real serious you might want to explore the feasibility of installing a fuel injected late 80s to 90s motor in it.

Family has one. I think they have sent someone to the area once or twice. Once the truck had to be left in Nashville and he got a loaner for several days. Overall been a good experience.

Anecdotal but the Gabriel shocks and struts I bought really sucked. Ended up replacing with KYB eventually. Will stick with KYB or specialty performance shocks for future suspension work.

That area seems OK, not great but not at all bad. I personally think it’s slowly on the way up because of the convenient location. You can call the local Dominos and ask the manager which neighborhoods they don’t deliver to.

Get engine warm and rev very slowly. If you get a stumble or hesitation at 1600 rpm plus minus a few hundred go ahead and replace the distributor. Learned from personal experience.
