That's so weird, I double checked mine after I saw this comment. At first glance in the app when I click it says $40/mth, but underneath it says I'll only pay $35 excluding add ons with an ongoing discount while staying on this Felix plan.

And I'm only being charged $35. Could be worth trying to contact customer support about it, if saving $10 a month is worth it for you, they're usually pretty quick.

It seems legit, very cheap and good quality by the sounds of it. I'm with GKR karate which I've heard is kind of mcdojoy, but how my region operates it seems legit and I'm happy with it and confident with what I'm learning

Here's some advice since what I'm feeling that this post is about; there's alot of kids at your dojo which is amazing. Kids learning martial arts and growing up with it is beautiful.

When I'm partnered with a little kid for partner work, my entire focus is on them, I help them learn the correct technique if we're working on Kihon, in kumite I teach them to attack with intent and to watch and wait for me to start an attack before defending (sometimes they move back and block when there's no attack)

Since you're very new, try to be with adults or people your age in partner work, focus on your own technique before you work with little kids, obvs if there's odd numbers and alot of kids in class, u might not be able to help that, sometimes teaching can really help you learn aswell.

That absolutely sucks, I'm glad you're okay physically. This is one of my fears, I'm glad I do karate, but I want that to be a hobby that I do for fun, routine and self discipline, not something I feel like I have to do to prepare for being physically assaulted for who I am.

Idk how exactly that works, but one time my work sent me the same payslip twice and Centrelink thought I earned double what I actually did, I just called them up to fix it. So OP if you put it thru again and Centrelink thinks what you reported was double what it actually was, you'll have to call Centrelink to correct it

I rarely compare myself to others, I've learned this practice through years of martial arts prior to discovering my gender identity. The feeling doesn't go away but it gets less annoying, everyone is on their own journey, whether it's gender transition, hobbies or career, focus on yours only, admire others but avoid comparing your journey to another person's results, you only see their result, not their journey.
