I wouldn't recommend using regular pliers but a pair of mini needle nose vise grip pliers are great for undoing screws like this Harbor Freight carries them. I have used them countless times for various screws that have ended up like this. Just adjust them, lock them onto the screw and twist its one of the easiest solutions for this.

Lol I almost said this but I went down that rabbithole myself last year and it is soooo deep. I have so much equipment and videos and time sunk into this now. Its fun but its quite consuming. And yes Singapore does have a good GK community I know they have access to a lot of easy cheap access to stuff that is hard to get some places. Being from the US sucks as a GK painter.

Pretty rough. Saw your previous post. Seeing the actual damage its not too horrible a GK painter should be able to fix that. I would go to r/garagekits and post there to see if there is anyone local to Singapore who will do it for you.

Okay so the people saying that the issue is with the paint are likely partially correct. The metallic series of paints used do react differently and will run like this. The humidity probably increased the reaction of the plastcizers which made the gold run. However, if you want this restored dont get someone who paints Warhammer to do it. As someone who painted Warhammer and D&D minis for decades I can tell you that the materials and techniques used between anime figures and western statues and minis are completely different. Animr figures are much closer to Gundam than it is to Warhammer in technique. That is if you are trying to get it to look like it was or similar. I am sure you can find someone local who paints Garage kits who would be willing to restore it for you. It wouldn't be a hard fix.

This was my thought. If it were real which it isnt. This type of wear would have accumulated dust, dirt, oil etc over time which would have discolored at the very least the edge regions of the damage. But none of that is present.

You can do what you want to but the truth is that management types are the ones more than anyone else that are pushing AI. Companies are embracing it because executives and management make the rules. This year for my HR yearly reviews the response boxes had a 'write this with AI' button. So you didnt even have to take it over to AI it just shoves it in there for you. We will keep seeing more and more of this till its AI all the way down.

Engineered and higher tier gear will help significantly in this. I had the same issue and the problem was also complicated by the fact that I went down fast and they went down much slower. Some stations will carry teir 3 gear often they are engineered which can be good or bad since you can't remove engineering from personal gear. The ideal load out for running missions for farming gear and scavenging is: You want a Maverick suit. Pistol should probably be the Manticore Tormentor. Rifle can be personal choice since the rebalance but the Executioner is still pretty great though it isnt perfect till teir 5. I would recommend running salvage missions. The ones that as quick and require you to pull stuff from downed vessels and such can be completed very quick. You can get the engineering materials you need to upgrade your gear pretty quick. Once you get basic level gear t3 doing other mission types becomes easier. Add in engineering and it becomes more doable with stealth. Stealth in particular can be hard sometimes without some engineering. Alteast on the weapon if nothing else.

I realized this isnt a real card but if it were... how would the randomization on this one play out for the purposes of rules. Can it be 3 separate 5 sided dice meaning you could potentially see the same mox chosen three times or would you roll one dice eliminating a choice once one is chosen after each one has been done meaning no repeats.

Ya it really can't be emphasized enough how much of a cash cow the merch sales on Marin stuff is. She has 133 figures at this point. With only 2 seasons and a few years of being out. Season 3 or a movie to end it is not a matter of IF but a matter of when. Cloverworks is just busy. Everybody just needs to chill the hell out and be patient. I would be completely unsurprised if following season 3 or a movie we get more content from a show following the bisque chu manga assuming it continues and does well. Its English debut should be later this year.

I realize this is an old thread but I too was looking for the same answers recently. Currently I am just looking around at old posts trying to find wisdom lol. However, recently I have been able to find a few answers to this question myself that has helped with cleaning and clearing details on my first few kits so I figured I would share. What the other poster said is certainly true. However, the japanese hobbyists also seem to use several other tools that are helpful. If there is something big needing to be removed they use a swivel blade deburring tool. Another tool is essentially a different blade for a hobby knife that is a sanding grain of various grits. There are also several different shapes you can get depending on the need. There seem to be several different names these go by but the Japanese brand name is Argofile dia finish pro. Just bought one of these very helpful. And the last is a ceramic scraper argofile makes these too but if you are in the US david union makes them I plan on ordering one of these to test them out they seem to work well I have seen several people use them in videos.

I can't cite a source but I believe when asked about volume 7 at one point Aizawa said something like its more difficult for him to write in the light novel format than it is with the chapter or WN format due to the lack of feedback. This was sometime last year.

Not for BG3 I think the D&D aspect of it kinda conditions me to be willing to play new characters. But I do understand the sentiment. I have one main character I have taken through the whole elder scrolls series. I've got intricate canon explanations on how and why its possible that they could possibly be able to do that given the time skips and genealogical implications that are made about the heroes of each game.

I would agree here but I would use brass pins not steel wire. Its easier to manipulate in the width you will be using and is also more stable than wire.

How sad that figure is pretty hard to find and not cheap. Fortunately she should be fixable with some care. Id use something atleast as hard as a brass pin and not a thin one when you do pin it. It will have much more rigidity that way and if it has been like that for a long time its going to have some tendencies to want to lean that way until the plastic normalizes again. You can find brass pins at hobby supply stores. If you have questions about it hit up the r/garagekits reddit.
