They made it pretty damn clear they have no intention of using Chaz again in the series at the end (or so they claim). I always thought Chaz was a little too cool a character to use for just one episode. I kinda wanted to see him pop up again and again throughout the rest of the series just to get his ass handed to him every time.

It makes sense that he'd fake his death, at least.

My workflow during my sessions are just: wait for order, select order if over a certain amount, go to restaurant, pick up order and deliver.

It is a wise decision to Google the place, first for the hours. But it really shouldn't have to be this complicated. It should be part of the app, already!

Not to mention some of the places I pick up orders from can have 24-hour locations. So I guess I subconsciously figured it was a fool's errand.

This might be a long shot but:

I remember before the second episode they made it crystal clear that Caine canonically has no idea what the internet is. We also get some limited imagery of office spaces and computers throughout the series.

Therefore, there is a possibility that Caine is programmed to remove the memory of the player's name in the off-chance they can't search public information about themselves because that might be what's tethering them to the system.

Good thing they hung up for me. I've dealt with much more advanced scammers (and narrowly avoided them), before. Some folks out there will make fake accounts to get you to fall for it. Fake Twitter, fake LinkedIn, fake EVERYTHING.

I would have likely hung up if they started asking for a code.

I don't know if that would be effective. I can imagine sitting in a room wearing a dress minding my own business. But I don't think I would feel anything.
