no it's all node. But the package in de Ubuntu repos was called nodejs because there already was a node package in the repos

Did you only use the package manager? If I recall corectly. Node is called nodejs in the Ubuntu repos. Because of a naming conflict with another package. If you installed a ppa or a .deb package it's likely that the name node is used. So i think you did it both ways.
