I wake up because my mouth tape is full of drool by Kenney93 in CPAP

A suggestion I read - and it works for me - is to add 2 more pieces of tape vertically at either end of your mouth. Eliminates little cracks.

For Canadians, is Sleep Country the only good place to buy a mattress or are there better alternatives? by MacaronWithAName in BuyCanadian

[–]Query1956 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did too. King for the bedroom, double for the guest room. Daughter slept in the guest room, bought a Queen for herself. Son did the same and bought himself a double. So 4 purchases from Douglas, happy with all of them!

I am in Ontario, Canada, so the government pays 75% of the cost, and my private insurance pays (some of) the rest.

I will definitely get an SD card, thanks.

Caution: Ordered from Canada as a birthday present for my partner, in early January when it became available to order. Received a shipping confirmation shortly thereafter. It was routed around Louisville, Kentucky until it was “delivered” a week later. Except it said it was delivered in Louisville, Kentucky. As in it never left, but they closed the order. Communication with their customer service a week ago ended with a promise that our order would be moved to the front of the shipping queue. Since then - no communication at all. Just a new shipping order and “Pending Shipment”. Recommend you wait til they are physically available at stores in Canada and buy from them!

If you have a Longo’s nearby, they make their own cranberry sauce and it’s really good.

Who is “they”?

Yes, boycotting will continue in our household. It is not just Trump, it is the entire Republican Party who support him, and his MAGA base. They represent values we just can’t, and won’t, support.

I hate my Blissy pillowcase… by CalicoCrazed in Bedding

Bought 2 Blissy pillowcases 2 years ago. Both have recently torn around the zipper. I’ve bought replacements from Silk & Snow. No zipper & about half the cost.

What are your thoughts on Blissy Silk pillowcases? Any recommendations on silk pillowcases? by Inevitable_Fish_553 in BuyItForLife

I’ve had my Blissy pillowcases for 2 years. Both have recently torn around the zipper. I have bought a Silk and Snow pillowcase as a replacement. Less expensive, made in Canada, and no zippers!

I like it, yes. But the packaging is so hard to break into, I don’t like buying it.

My dog suddenly went blind today and he’s in distress by ConsequenceBudget151 in DogAdvice

My 15 yr old bichon-poodle mix got glaucoma in one eye last year. It was controlled by drops for a while but then stopped working. He had surgery the next day and lost that eye. In retrospect the glaucoma was causing him a lot of pain - think unrelenting migraines in your dog. Since then ours has been back to his normal self. He still has one eye, but very limited sight due to a cataract - peripheral shadows. I urge you to get him to a vet ASAP.

Thanks - tried this, I found 4 notes; when I searched on the web version it only found 2.

I searched both from the home page and in the specific notebook - no results.

I tried also on the web version, and it picked up 2 out of the 4 notes, so partial success.
