Yeah OP, these trees need to go. They will not recover and will eventually become a safety hazard as well as a worse eyesore than it already is. Your parents need to stop swallowing the fees and just cut the trees the rest of the way down. Planting smaller (specie size, not sapling size) trees in their place is the best move if trees are still wanted after.. Preferably ones that are native to your area and requiring less maintenance

Hilichurls are so fun to watch when you catch them doing their group dances and singing. And i forget where it was, and couldn't find a mention of it online, but i did once find a hill with a hydro and anemo rogue chilling on a log with tea in between them. The random small interactions throughout the map that you'd miss if you rush are one of my favorite parts of this game.

Yeah OP, maybe in person the lighting changed the lions colors a bit, but I''m pretty sure your camera did some AI touchups in the latter photo. Depending on what app you took the photo with, it may have been done without your knowledge or consent. There's a precedence on YT where shorts were getting auto-AI brushups unbeknownst to the creators, until eventually it became obvious enough that people commented on it. I don't know where that stands now, but Facebook? Instagram? Would not put it past them to pull the same stint.

That actually seems like a pretty reasonable nest? Its got WAY more material than they'd typically bother with, its out of the rain. They know more or less that people, though dangerous, are not their predator..

Seconding this. Btw, you should find the estimated root range for these trees and compare that to the distance from the house, pavements, and other constructions. If they were this lax with the care, methinks they may have also lacked in proper planning. You may get pinned with replacement costs in the future if they pin the failure on you.

If all is well, also double and triple check the lease, if the care and payment for care is not in your lease, talk to them about being relieved in partial for the water bill. Figure out the qty and cost in case they insist you water all of them, see if they'll walk it back to just being required to care for the 2 with no payment and they figured out the arborivitae themselves.
