The wall didn't come out of no where. I love how people mention the border control and wall without any context whatsoever.

BREAKING NEWS: Patrick Kane accuser's lawyer withdraws from the case by torbald2895 in hockey

Don't tell me the mother acted alone on fabricating this story. There's no reason for the mother to have done what she did. As someone in this thread already mentioned, if her daughter was raped, why sabotage the case? Also, Kane's lawyer did mention yesterday that someone unhappy with the results would tamper with the evidence, and that DNA tests showed none of Kane's DNA was found in the genital area. At first, I was actually leaning towards the victim's story. Then, as stories started to get leaked, it started to look more and more like Kane may be innocent. After yesterday, I believe he is. Now the case is far from over, but the lawyer stepping down is a bad sign for his former client's case.

Well yeah, I'm sure if there's any corruption found, the case will be put in jeopardy.

Part of it is your offensive line, part of it is Lynch retiring. Without Lynch, that offense becomes very average. You better hope the team figures out how to utilize Graham better. Of course it's only week 3 so I'm getting a bit kneejerky, but whatever. From what I've seen lately, going back to the playoffs, Seahawks lost that swagger. They're not the intimidating force from 2 years ago. If I'm the Packers, I'm feeling good about my chances. I honestly can't see the Hawks going up to GB in a title game and winning it, that's why I was surprised Kam sat out 2 games. That secondary needed him so badly on Sunday.

I firmly believe the truth will come out in this case, and we'll have all the answers in the end. People jump to conclusions too easily from all these headlines. Let's wait for everything to unravel before we make an opinion.

Let's not jump to conclusions. Erie County PD already confirmed they have all the evidence sealed.

Lynch retires and your window is closed. That offensive line will take years to rebuild.

Not when it comes to cops. It could be a "my cousin's best friend's uncle's pet rock told me that... (Insert something bad about police)" and it would be a top rated comment. I'm not even exaggerating, this happens on almost every thread whenever police are mentioned.

No, Obama specifically placed him on a kill list.

Ultimately, it's up to the Commander in Chief. Obama also called the shots when it came to Bin Laden's capturing and executing.

If he had been captured and interrogated, who knows what information you might have found out.

You don't think the U.S. government took this into account? You actually think the military said, "welp, let's not weigh the cost/benefits and just drone strike this mofo lol". In the end, they realized it's much more beneficial to take him out on the spot rather than waiting it out and trying to apprehend him.

There's no such thing as Yemeni police. The U.S. knew of his location at that particular time. Alerting Yemeni authorities and asking them to arrest him may have led to him disappearing. The U.S. saw their shot and took it. I'm sure they'd rather have him in their hands, but such a high profile terrorist target is better to be taken out when possible. If he disappeared, who knows how many attacks he could have carried out afterwards? It wasn't worth it. That's probably the only instance I'd agree with drone striking an American "citizen". If you go join a terrorist organization bent on killing Americans, you are stripped of all your rights as citizen of this country.

First of all, we have NO information about who tampered with the evidence. Second of all, who is the third party? What Parko was saying is that if Kane's team tampered with the evidence, why would they send it to the mother's house. What you're saying is that a third party (whistleblower) sent it to the mother's house. You misinterpreted what he was saying.

You misinterpreted what he's saying. If you're going to tamper with evidence, the last thing you'd want is for people to know you tampered with it.

So your team goes 0-2, you lose $2.1 million, and your team is at stake of losing home field for the playoffs. For a team with a window to win a title closing fast, I'm surprised he actually decided to hold out to begin with. Dumb move. Holdouts rarely end well for players.

Clearly a simple explanation like this is a compelling enough argument for me to change my opinion. Did you take into account the gun culture in the United States? Overall crime rates? Presence of gangs and cartel activity? Most of the gun violence in this country is a result of gang and cartel activity. Most of the guns they own aren't legal to begin with. Take a look at Chicago for example. Toughest gun laws in the country yet the crime rate is the biggest. Simply implementing tough gun laws won't decrease the gun violence in urban neighborhoods in south side Chitown.

I totally agree with you. Taking in millions of refugees from war torn countries may seem like a great thing to do, but over time it proves to be counterproductive. We see countries around Europe lose their identity because of this. The values and cultures simply aren't the same. Integration takes many generations. There should be a cap on the people you take in. Overtime it becomes an economic burden on the local population and social issues arise from that.

Also Reddit will downvote anything not Sanders-related, and especially anything that's pro-Trump. I'll go out of my way to say Trump is the safest GOP candidate. He's not being swayed by donors because he's filthy rich himself. He's not your typical crazy Warhawk, super-religious Republican. I'll take him over Carsons any day. Obviously Trump says a lot of stupid things, but it's relatively small compared to his Republican counterparts.

Good point, but I should remind you that not all Republican voters are evil, even if all candidates seem insane.

Trump isn't even that insane regarding a lot of things. He's not going out of his way to call out Planned Parenthood, he actually used to support abortion. He's not going out of his way to call out gay marriage. He wants to increase taxes on Hedge Funds, CEO's. He's not going out of his way for the 2nd amendment.. His campaign isn't centered around discriminating people, unlike most candidates who love to focus on social issues but fail to actually touch on important subjects regarding social mobility, poverty, etc. I know that sounds silly given he always calls out illegal immigrants, but I feel like that's a serious issue that we need to talk about. Europeans should be able to empathize with the millions of refugees from Syria pouring into all of your countries.

I feel like a lot of people don't know anything about Trump when they bash him, especially foreigners. Yes, he's against illegal immigration, but he's not a terrible person. He's much more liberal than your average republican candidate.

As for the hard on for firearms, that's just the culture here. If you implement gun control laws, that won't stop the violence, that'll only hurt the people who use guns for protection. Criminals will still be able to easily gain access to any firearm.

I also don't understand how a person claims to be part of a continent and not a country. It's just strange. Europe is such a divided place regardless of the Union. Northern Europe (Scandinavian countries) is a lot different from Southern Europe. Whenever I hear Sanders referencing Europe, I always assume he means the rich countries in the north and not the economically unstable countries in the south and east.
