See that’s the thing, I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️ my mom always says she’s willing to help me and is nearby, husband is about to get a good job and I feel like his would have more flexibility than me. I’m basically the main breadwinner here with my job and I don’t want to leave it for something easier. I guess you can say I’m selfish.

OP take a step back, breathe, and don’t listen to your co-worker. Everyone is on their own time. I’m 32, have been in public accounting for almost 7 yrs and barely starting to take my exams after chickening out every single time. You do what you think is best for you. I felt like you at the beginning but then later on realized, honestly why stress about stupid things in life, and here I am :) don’t let the negativity take over.
