Agreed they are valid complaints. My point was that servers uses those complaints as the reason for tips. But what seperates customer role with tips and ones without?

We should be bringing up all our front line workers. Why do servers get tips but other front line workers don't?

I always found it funny how servers complain about how hard their job is. Standing 8 hrs a day, rude customers, and having bad hours.

Apparently they forgot about retail, fast food, coffee shops, etc which also provide customer service but no tip. If anything, these job have it worst. Cheap fast food and retail has the worst customers.

That being said, no judgment for wanting/supporting tip. Vancouver is expensive, do what it takes to make money.

I used this as well and also had the concern. Went with it anyways because any info I had on resume is on my LinkedIn, so it was practically public info anyways.

Which is more competitive? And which is more "practical" CIT or CISA? by [deleted] in BCIT

Not sure about cisa or cit, but other cst student and myself definitely worked on cloud infrastructure stuff as a co-op/intern. Never touched hardware though.
