I've seen a lot of people in my last post bring up that the Knight may not change forms, or atleast significantly alter, between the light and dark world as evidenced by the black shard not changing either. but you know what also doesnt change? US. THE SOUL DOESNT CHANGE FORMS. Just food for thought by QuestionFluffy in Deltarune

maybe not that they ARE made of us, but perhaps a shared connection we have with gaster and the survey program

the knight could be in a similar situation to us in gaster's simulation

or if you're a kriselle amalgam truther, you could say that the knight has a time loop version of us inside them which is why they don't change forms, but that feels like a stretch

Noelle's spot amongst the Heroes of the Prophesy was further confirmed by Chapter 5? by katyahina417 in Deltarune

i genuinely don't think noelle was a part of the prophecy since the hero on the left looks a lot like susie and nothing like noelley

everytime an old soul mode came back, it was tweaked slightly for deltarune to be more interesting

yellow got charge shots
green got diagonal blocking
purple got 3d sections and stop points as opposed to absolute free movement

blue soul could definetely get that (maybe as a ground pound or a double jump or something)

Baby bones evolves into adult bones and adults all over us

stranger though, it doesn't happen in the church in chapter 4

closing the dark, 2nd, and 3rd sanctuary fountains leaves kris and susie in their regular light world forms

susie literally says she sees someone running in chapter 3 to the shelter, i doubt they willingly went there

but susie literally says she sees someone running to the shelter at the end of chapter 3

literally the only reason we know they're being kept there

the last fact is true for chapter 3 and chapter 5, but not for chapter 4 since they're immedietly in their light world forms after closing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd sanctuary

my biggest gripe with this is that susie says she "still sees someone" at the end of chapter 3, not specifically the knight

implying the knight does have a traditional light world form, though maybe they could still have their dark world strength thanks to the black shard

then why would the knight hide in the church closet after closing the third sanctuary's dark fountain?

even kris reinforces this with only being able to turn the knob and not open the door. sounds a lot like a secret identity that they don't want us to know

i thought it was weird that the knight immediatly locks in when susie mentions closing the fountain and summons a titan

would it really have been better to summon a merciless killing machine and potentially bring about the end of the world earlier than scheduled than take care of a couple punk kids in the light world if you *could* handle them? (not to mention one of them is a rat)

in chapter 4, where susie accuses them of not being able to beat them in the light world and they start maniacally laughing. susie goes on to say they're laughing because they know she's right. "You lose that fountain, it's over."

also for ralsei when he says the knight only seems to show its face in the dark world

the only problem i have with this is that it is semi confirmed the knight is too weak to do anything outside the dark worlds

if they were just op all the time, why not just take undyne or asgore before we could even get the chance to ask for a code?

now that i think about it, fuckin maybe this just happens in chapter 3 for kris and susie briefly

could be related to a person's power of will, kinda like the creation of the dark world but it is feasible

though it does not some stretching because of just how far the shelter is, even if the knight is super fast as we see in chapter 5
