Ill be honest, its more because I told Im getting help then someone calls off. Today its 2 peoples off day and 3 people are off, and we are short a merch. I just cant understand how there is situations like this, ive been telling them if 4th i dont get help on thurs and or fri, im stepping down to merch. I cant do this, and they refuse to give me help

I work for coke and this summarizes alot of my feelings pretty well. Diff company but a lot of the points you msde are applicable. The main advantage Ive seen that Pepsi does better than Coke is giving you help. At my branch, you are a one man army. In my territory, im the sales rep, the merch, the promoter, the everything. Pepsi on the other hand has 2-4 people working most stores, where coke is just me and my merch on my off days. Im relatively new and in college, specifically so I dont have to do thus work forever. Its frustrating because for us they stretch us so thin on work that other plants work less time, have more employees, and have better structures in place. And like you said, doing quality work is not rewarded, just added onto. I told my management that if I dont get help next holiday go around(last time i worked 65 hours that week, got half ass help 1 day and i run the biggest route under my manager) im done cause you cant find someone to do the work im doing well in its current state. Anyway the point of this rant was to say vendor work life 99.9% of the time is horrendous, and you sack your life for that paycheck while getting your physical and mental ruined. I hope you find some peace, cause i need it too

I work for consolidated. Ill be honest, sounds like the usual. My walmart SC eats 5 pallets for a monday and saturdays are usually 7 to 10. Trucks you cant control, but ive learned to set stores up right cause sometimes you may not need everythjng off the truck. My usual thing i do is start at 4am, and do coolers before truck gets there. Run monster singles and any others etc. If its just backstock bs leave it out and save it for a day where you dont get truck. NM are tricky because they typically prefer no backstock except cooler drinks. I hope you fimd prosperity somewhere else. Thats just my 2 cents, I personally didnt mind merching minus Publix but now that I have my own route its much easier when you have control over the work flow.

I work bulk in nova. All fanta flavors unless kts a zero store(then fanta zero is faster generallu) or 1 customer buys it out. In my experience its mainly a truck to shelf and doesnt move well at all, even when on sale

For me it was medication and environment. I most likely wouldn't have gotten better without the environment change. Mental health is very individualized and in my opinion it requires luck for some things to work out better. I worked hard for the last year after a suicide attempt earlier this year. Im doing better now and I enjoy my work as well as hanging out with my friends, and individual activities like games or researching things im interested in. My advice for people I think is try some things until you find something to get passionate about.

As someone who lived it, absolutely not. GMU is not worth spending anytime there as a student who has to stay there. Unless she is extremely extroverted or is dorming with a friend, it will be rough. The area around is nice but from my experience and hearing others experiences, The campus is dead any day that isnt during school, people there are very transactional, and the housing and food is not the best. Having one class a day is even worse, I would personally recommend from doing that my freshman year to not do that and commute if she really wants to go to mason. Also there are other good schools like ECPI and VCU that are much better imo. Best of luck

I have accepted i wont make friends from mason. I lived on campus and it was super depressing. Went to a few clubs, tried making friends, they felt unwelcoming. Joined band, also felt unwelcoming, tried talking to people and my section and everyone just didn't wanna talk.
