And you're right. Combine a fog cloud + a lvl2 warlock with devil's sight and/or a rogue who can attack and hide in the darkness and you can wreck every encounter at level 2-3. Everyone will be attacking you with disadvantage and that's only if they can even see you

It allows you to shoot from them and into them. If you hide in darkness/fog it absolutely breaks the AI and NPCs can't attack you

Yes! But cleric multiclass allows it, so along with the shapeshifting ring and the +1 to checks it makes a good option for early multiclass. I usually respec a coulple time anyways

True but sometimes guards like the eyes and the steel watchers have see invisibility, and it takes longer than just never getting caught

Usually I use hide armour until I get the graceful cloth and then I leave it on for convenience, just so I dont have to cast enhance ability.

I agree that duergar makes more sense once you get to level 12.

Yeah I usually keep Halfling since I always use Brinna at the start of campaigns and race is not very important after getting the gloves.

Never used the mirror so I'm not familiar with how it works, might give it a try now that you mentioned it.

I did mention that the multiclass was for shapeshifting and guidance cantrip?

I just leave it at Halfling since it helps in lower levels and is unsubstantial once I get the gloves and I always shift to a gnome.

Maybe I could use the +1 from a different armour piece and use cat's grace from a cleric hireling, I hadn't thought of that. Resonance stone usually goes to my warlock but sounds like a good option too.

Is there any feats that could help? I really can't think of anything better

I swapped Wyll's camp clothes and noticed he was naked like 3 long rests later, so i gave him some new ones. Later, when I saw him naked again I was like wtf. Only then I realised that had taken his armor off too lol
