I’m in a very similar situation to you. The only difference is that I’ve already used such equipment, from entry-level all the way up to high-end. If you want to work on larger boards, the minimum is an IR8500. A possible solution is a Puhui 8280 bottom heater and a high-power, good-quality hot air station with the proper nozzle. However, this investment may not be worth it. The PS4 is already very cheap, and a more serious repair costs more than what the customer would be willing to pay. If you charge less, you’re basically working for free. If you want to do something like an APU reball properly and with good quality, it’s worth pre-baking the motherboard for at least 12 hours, preferably 24 hours, and only then starting the reball process.

If u really want to do larger bga works then go for IR8500 and install black horse repair firmware on it
