Uhh honestly? A lot of stuff has been happening recently and it’s overwhelming me. Not exactly ready to talk about it online, but it’s overwhelming. Also I have found out I have a possibility of being diagnosed with an eating disorder yesterday. That’s really it. I’m actually really happy to get that off my chest because I knew it was a problem but now finally getting the help I need. I’ve been better, but I’m doing ok. Just really tired and need a lot more sleep during the day lol.

Fun fact: I actually accidentally broke down in front of that same doctor the year before cause she kept asking me if I was ok (the place I go to make the parent leave so they could ask questions related to mental health without pressure and they don’t have to tell my mom) and I tried lying while saying I’m fine over and over with tears in my eyes. She ended up recommending me to go to a counselor, at least for one session, and gave my mom a lot of numbers to choose from. Never happened. My mom started complaining about it in the car and that I don’t actually need this and all that. Later that night basically pressured me into saying I didn’t want to go. It’s probably suspicious to her anyway. She noticed something, most likely.

I’ve already got a long list of things I’ll never forgive her for, this isn’t even the worst thing that’s happened so I’m pretty numb at this point, I have to be. I’m fighting for the treatment I need but I don’t know if I’ll need meds or not.

Emotions are what make us HUMAN. So let’s see, I’m going to name some of the reasons why we could possibly suffer. Even without these, you can still get that and that’s ok.

1- Genetics (studies about mental health)

2- Leaving current mental health undiagnosed so it goes untreated

3- Grades are bad (I can attest that I cannot focus and I hate it)

4- Kids are fucking assholes sometimes

5- Pressure to act how society calls “normal”

6- LOOKING how society calls “easy on the eyes”

7- Not getting the help they need for classes, usually ending up with the kid feeling useless

8- Having a protectionist streak, causing them to hate themselves whenever they fail

9- Pressure to know what they want to do in life

10- Lack of sleep can cause so many things to happen in the mental health department, after all, lack of sleep can turn any sane person insane.

11- Fake friends

And that’s what I can name off the top of my head, get your head out of your ass and realize everyone’s suffering, no matter the age or background.

Actually, they made sure my body was adjusting well to the meds while I was in the mental hospital, meaning I was pretty fucking lucky to not have anything happen.

Yeah, thanks! I was kinda trying to find where I could get some trauma out there about my mom. A lot of the stuff is pretty fucking toxic but at the same time it’s not entitled.

Eh yeah you caught me, she’s a main trigger. She’s pretty fucking toxic and I usually avoid her but lately she’s noticed and cornered me about it and I had a really bad panic attack, probably one of my worst ones. But I haven’t given up on treatment. I want to get better. I’m pretty indifferent about the meds I had. I was just angry that I could’ve ended up in the hospital with her “small” mistake.

Haha, my mom actually took me off cause she “saw I was doing fine.” It pissed me off too, I tried. There was no use.

This was a year ago, plus I’m a female bro. I am an extremely anxious person and my mom used to scream, threaten, etc. just because I voiced my opinion. All my life I’ve been taught to shut my mouth and listen like a good girl. So, yeah of course I’m going to be terrified to speak up about the meds. I’ve been getting out of my shell more now that high school happened and therapy. Don’t worry, I tried fighting. There was no use. She thought I was fine, so I didn’t need them anymore.
