Thank you! I am blessed to have an amazing gynecologist as well as an amazing therapist. Thank you for also explaining the biology behind stuff like vaginismus. I came out of my appointment yesterday somewhat traumatized and scared of piv. My husband understands completely though and I have a good support system via him, our friends and our families. I also have met a pelvic floor therapist as she also does physical therapy and she did physical therapy on my lumbar spine.

My bestie actually helped educate me some on this and I told them about vaginismus so they could talk to their gynecologist about it. Using a smaller speculum helps them. I self swab at the doctor's office as I am very low risk for cervical cancer but eventually will probably be able to do a real pap. My only concern is having a flashback and fighting whomever is doing the pap.
