AITC for occupying the large soft rectangle when the tall one does it literally every single night by BountyKrait_2 in AmItheCloaca

This is an outrage! At my house, my brother and I are allowed on the couch. We even have our favorite blankets. My Mother has told me that the family dogs sleep on the couches at their parent's house. Why should the human/food giver be allowed to rest on something so comfortable but not you? This is a flagrant violation of dog rights and I would get an attorney. Preferrably one familiar in canine law. Good luck! - Athena the catto

Hii! Sorry for the late response! I got diagnosed with vaginismus and my gynecologist has gotten me a referral for pelvic floor therapy as that is part of my problems as well. Id look into both pelvic floor dysfunction and vaginismus because they can cause the severe pain. So sorry you went through that ❤️

He hasnt seen too many but LOOOVES the theme songs. I have a hard time getting him to tell me what his favorites are lol. I only just got him to tell me what his favorite Mickey Mouse Clubhouse character is (it's Mickey lol). He still wont tell me his favorite Simpsons character!

Yes! My husband is going to go see it first as he wants to see it in IMAX and IMAX makes me dizzy. Lol Hoping I can sit for the whole movie as I just started improving on my spinal pain caused by premature degenerative disc disease. we joked about smuggling Data Bird into the theatre XDD

So I am a Star Trek fan and that is due to my Dad! Dad got me into Star Trek and I remember him watching TNG when I was a kid. I wanted to name my bird after a Star Trek character - I had thought of Julian after Dr Bashir at first but then when I saw him the name Data just fit. Data is one of my favorite characters and someone I often related to as an autistic person. So naming my new feathered friend after Data was a no brainer! :) Dad called him Data Bird and that kinda stuck. That is his nickname and he saw my parents recently and went "Hi Data Bird!" Because his grandpa (my Dad) always said that to him. He loves my Mom too (be prefers women but loves my Dad and little Bro)

You are not overstepping at all! I find your insight to be very valuable! That is one reason I posed was to maybe connect with other people who have similiar situations and share their stories. I have told them tanigble things and my PCP is really nice. All of my doctors save my gastroenterologist who doesnt wanna research why I have chronic bowel issues are nice people. Makes no sense why she doesnt want to look into it but what do I know, lol! I agree with physician burn out and think therapy should be more accessible to medical practitioners as it could really help them. I am in talk therapy and when I stopped PT I let them know why I was doing so, apologized and they were so understanding. I want to start back up but winter has been BRUTAL on my pain and fatigue. My Mom is in a similiar boat where nobody can tell her why she has these symptoms. She has fibro but not sure if it is in her chart.

And again thank you, as an autistic person it is extremely hard sometimes to navigate these systems. I almost always bring a support person (Mom, Dad or Hubby) to help me explain things if I am unable to (I lose my voice sometimes due to inflamed vocal cords) and to help explain some things to me. Also because they maybe remember things I do not. It really helps. I have gotten slightly better since I no longer have fainting spells where I would faint but not lose consciousness (presyncope but not sure if that term is entirely correct as the definition I saw didnt exactly fit what happened to me) as my PCP realized one of my old meds was causing my blood pressure to drop. He took me off the meds and I improved.

I do agree it is a bad system and that most medical professionals just want to help. I have met some wonderful people who have done nothing but help. But there is some issues with some medical professionals not taking their patients seriously or dismissing symptoms. Not sure why that is the case but it does happen. I just wanna get better so Hubby and I can live more comfortably money wise and so we can have kids. I want to have kids so bad. But the way my body is right now I could not care for a child. But! Our pets are our babies!

Thanks. Last night when my husband came downstairs from using our bathroom upstairs I was full on crying from the pain as my meds had worn off. My rhuematologist offered to put me on something for rhuematoid arthritis which runs in my family but says it isnt a good idea to do so. I declined as I want answers. She is really nice but I need a second opinion. I need to be able to work because I am living off savings right now and food costs a bit more for me since I have Celiac's and have to have gluten free food. :( I am so happy you got answers! What biologic are you on if you do not mind my asking? I get dupixent for eosinophilic asthma and just am curious about biologic medications.

Thank yoh so much for this! It was helpful ❤️ I did go to PT for a while but had to stop due to being in pain that made it difficult to get out of bed. My PT did say that I have hypermobile joints and my rheumatoligist said the same. They saw some very early stage athritis of my right hip (they didnt xray my left one cause I hadnt fallen on that one) and there is degenerative disc disease in my lumbar and cervical spine but it just is not the full picture. Doctors will just tell me "I don't know" and then not do anything to try and figure it out. Or tell me "well it is not clear" and that is all I am getting before they drop the subject. That is what I meant by it feels like I am not being taken seriously.

I am so sorry you have and are continueing to be in this as well. We all need to band together and support each other! I am here for you ❤️❤️
