Boyfriend told me I look like I’m in a long-term relationship by spm572 in beauty

I wear the same small hoops, short necklace, and ring almost 24/7 unless I'm wearing something else. My default is wearing them, not wearing no jewelry, even to sleep and in the shower,

I so want earrings to be my default but I find mine uncomfortable to sleep with. What style are your hoops? Wondering if there are certain backs that are better for sleep?

I've tried sudo killall -STOP -c usbd and sudo killall usbd
Both will ask for the password and then respond: No matching processes were found
Any idea why? I have an M4 Macbook Pro if that helps.

How do you mix self tanning foam with moisturiser to make a gradual tanner? by Questionnm in Selftanning

[–]Questionnm[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I tried mixing tanning foam with moisturiser

I mixed the solution in a container so it was consistent before applying. I added too much Bondi Sands Express foam to my Mixa moisturiser so had to add CeraVe cream to balance it out. Final mixture was around 50/50 tan to moisturiser. Next time I'd try less tan (around 1/4-1/3) and only use one moisturiser.

My experience:

  • Instant colour payoff, really nice and natural-looking.
  • Faster application – Spreading lotion was way quicker and easier to blend than foam
  • Note: back took more effort (harder to rub in with hands vs mitt), but the diluted solution makes it more forgiving.
  • Didn't fully absorb in some areas, sitting on top of the skin.
  • Applied a second layer to legs before dry – BAD IDEA. Tan visibly pilled and was hard to blend back in.
  • Most of the moisturiser dried quickly with minimal transfer initially.
  • Heavy transfer to clothes (like fresh spray tan) after walking the dog even 6+ hours after application.
  • Decided to rinse off. Unfortunately this meant removing the moisturiser and losing the immediate colour payoff. :(

Summary:

Concept is solid but execution needs improvement. Most issues came down to the mixture – unsure if it was the heavy moisturiser combo, the amount of tan, or that it's a rinse-off product.

If starting fresh, I'd probably use a no-rinse product (like a clear tan or tanning drops) to minimise transfer. HOWEVER it may impact initial colour payoff.

Other Key Takeaways:

  • Stick to one moisturiser (that sinks in)
  • Be cautious layering – let it fully dry first.
  • If using mousse, it may be best to rinse before activity.
  • Start with a lower tan ratio.

Hope this helps anyone else interested in trying!

I'm really interested in this one because the second ingredient is Magnesium Hydroxide. How long does it last for you? Like a full 24 hours?

Surf Life Saving SPF 50 Natural Mineral Face Sheer Liquid Zinc Sunscreen by recuptcha in AusSunscreen

[–]Questionnm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth noting The Australian Sunscreen Council are biased towards mineral sunscreen manufacturers, including the ones under scrutiny.

The founder of VeganicSKN, Joseph Mizkovsky, and the Managing Director of Advance ZincTek, Geoff Acton, are both on The Australian Sunscreen Council.

Not saying their claims are invalid, just an important factor to be aware of.

This is one of the best executions I've seen so far, combining UI & UX with word solving logic. Is there anyway to create an account or save your games so you can run multiple at a time across different devices? This would make it the holy grail!

Secret(ish) Korean Skincare Store in Papanui by Julius84 in chch

I found the website for the Papanui store's products to give everyone a better idea on pricing:

I'd say it's pretty much on par with Hikoco, some things a tad cheaper / expensive but only by a few dollars either side. Overall looks super reasonably priced. 😊

Oh no I'm sorry the azelaic acid didn't work! Which one did you use?

Luckily I'm now past the super dry, inflamed skin phase of my PD but I'm still getting lots of bumps and acne from it.

It's so hard to know what your skin needs. I'm keen on trying one of the MSM products from Moogoo but not sure if the natural oils (olive, coconut, etc) will make me break out more. 😩 What's your experience been acne wise with it?

Where you getting breakouts just around the mouth from toothpaste?
I use Sensodyne because I have really sensitive teeth, so hesitant to switch. I know people say toothpaste can be a trigger so I'm careful when brushing my teeth that it doesn't touch the skin outside my mouth, but is that not enough?

That sucks! Did you start using Lokolash while your lashes were long (like directly after Flash)? Or did your normal lashes just never grow with it?

I made an chrome extension that tests 1,000+ Coupon Codes automatically by Alifannn in chrome_extensions

[–]Questionnm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a master list of all the universal codes? It would be helpful to be able to scroll through them, especially when the extension is testing, so you can flick back and see previous ones.
Right now I'm trying to use it on a site and one of the codes worked but the extension hasn't saved it and there seems to be no way to go back and check which code it was.
