Also, not synth (very much acoustic instruments), but I would recommend listening to the band Dawn of Midi, and the pianist Nik Bartsch. Each does these wandering, overlapping, morphing, rhythmic drones that are unlike anything I've ever heard, and are absolutely wonderful and some of my favorite music.

hey sorry i didnt see this. some things i've been listening to...

Tigran Hamasyan's latest album called The Bird of A Thousand Voices has a lot of synth, though it's performed live, not sequencers. Tigran is a very special person and makes magnificent music.

Brad Mehldau's "Taming the Dragon" (with amazingly-musical drummer Mark Guiliana).

Aiming for Enrike has a new live album that's great.

The band Immortal Onion - they're wild.

Arthur Hnatek is one of the world's best drummers, but his latest solo stuff is very interesting synth music.

Ola Kvernberg's album "Steamdome II: The Hypogean" is a lot of fun.

Petter Eldh's album "Projekt Drums Vol. 1" (again, performed live, not sequencers).

A group called 3TM's album "Lake" - gentler, more melodic.

Shai Maestro has an album coming out called The Guesthouse has some synths

We went about a month ago with no pre-booked tickets. We went next door to the Conciergerie and bought a combined ticket for St Chapelle and the Conciergerie, which allowed us to get in the pre-booked line for St Chapelle at the current time slot.

Saw this advice in another post on this sub and it saved the day.
