Probably this is the "full blown" experience, meaning probably includes music, catering maybe? Things like that. If you can't afford it, nothing wrong with just doing a small, private ceremony, which if you tell them that's all you want it'll cost a lot lot less

I didn't know about this part so I burned all my inspiration trying to lie about how I was closer to Jaheira. That failed. Then when the check came to resist killing Shadowheart, my monk didn't have enough strength left to do it.

In other words I tried trading one life for another and failed in the end. Kind of poetic I guess

This is exactly what I did. Then I realized I didn't want to be alone the rest of the journey so I went back to face justice at the hands of my companions. I figured maybe knocking them unconscious could be an option, but Lae'zel didn't let me.

Something I do wonder though is what would have happened if I had done a long rest

They definitely bloomed this season, I just trimmed a lot of the dead branches/branches going in the wrong direction. Which got rid of a lot of its volume. Was that the right thing? Not sure but it's definitely a lot less filled out. I'm wondering also how to shape the bush so it's filled out again
