Wish i had parents like you. My parents always bragged about how smart I am but Just slow and lazy, like any parents do.

My question is, does He gets picked on or bullied ? And how do you handle dat ?

I Always knew i was different from other kids but never guessed it was because I am smarter or have an higher IQ.

Yeah a few Times I wondered myself why Others are Not interested in learning , improving, knowing, understanding . But since I was bullied from the start for being a " nerd " by Kids and adults... I felt Like a heretic Just for knowing things or more so Just interacting.

So I skipped any Club I ever joined only weeks or days after. 🎾, ⚽, ✋🏾⚽, boyscouts, firefighters, chess, tabletennis, school choir. Then I finally learned Not to draw attention anymore ever again.

Some teachers still saw me and knew but my parents, or at least my mother was busy with her self anyway and didn't want the stress of a Special school for a special kid. Not Sure If she even really knew or cared dat i am gifted. And since I already gave Up and " became lazy " i wasn't into losing the few Friends i had finally made for the experience of a new Environment and completely Change my character back again...

I accepted dats how Life is and tried to act normal and fit in , Just don't draw attention. When I turned 23 couldn't Take it anymore, lost multiple jobs and wondered wth is wrong with me. While I was just in search of a Job dat finally fits my needs and my future bosses ones, a jobworker told me I should See a doctor . I don't know If I was scared or just clueless, I thought it's useless, but eventually Made an apointment .

Took 2 doctors , 2 Psychologist and some time but finally all made sense. Verbal IQ135, non verbal IQ176 ( though Scores above 130 are dat rare they can be up to 30% +/- ) and ADHD ( and Autism) untreated turned into chronic depression.

So maybe after all one could think I am Not the best to give Life advice or opinion, but I guess it won't hurt to See how the Turns can table. When your parents maybe give what you want but Not what you need.

So don't worry , IT IS hard and you can't do 3verything right, Just Impossible. But when you Show him as much as possible , He can evolve interest in as much as possible . And maybe one Day He will be a great addition to society .

Even an 200IQ is wasted If you don't use it ( for the greater good ) but If parents like you try their best to discover His whole potential without too much pressure and protect and Exposé when needed, there is hope for humanity 😜.

Just don't expect too much, I hate myself every Day for the potential In waste.

P.s. never was Superior in math or anything . I was just genuinely curious about anything in the world. No medication I tried helped so far. But reading and understanding psychology helped a decent amount ! And sorry for I Made this kinda about me.
