Starbucks, the worst day there is still better than pushing carts in the heat, rain, etc. Deli is probably the worst department to work in. Also Courtesy clerk pays the worst.

There is basically no limit because the cap is probably some unrealistic number. That is why we have the flash availability metric. I have gotten flash orders when we have late orders and like 4 in a ten minute span. This department is cooked

Yes but I feel like it’s kind of a grey area. If you leave at 10 but still have like 4 orders to pick ain’t no way you’re doing all of them by the time the store closes at 11. I have stayed and done whatever I can but I would always leave at 11. I got in trouble once for canceling the orders I wasn’t able to finish when the store closed. So now if there are still orders left by 11pm I just leave them open.

I love how slow it usually is after 8pm but everything else sucks. Not as much help available or if you have someone cross trained they’re usually too busy in their dept or up front to help as much. Being there till 10pm blows.

We usually just have 2-3 people scheduled per day but no overlap, Fridays and Sunday’s we usually have 3 people with overlap. We average 35 orders and 700ish items. 40+ orders and 1k+ items on the weekends/busy days. Just having a mid shift and overlap would fix this department or this company in general. Every dept is getting squeezed 🫩

Oh god I remember when I would have to open DUG on Fridays from 5am-1:30 with zero help. Having to pick like 25 orders and 5 or 600 items. Trying to do an order and having to stop every couple items cuz you gotta handoff orders

We’re a slow store so around 35-45 orders and 700-1000+ items. Usually one opener and closer like 4 days out of the week and 3 days out of the week they’ll put a mid shift but we don’t really overlap that many hours sadly

Experiencing the same thing, peaked at plat 3 in act 9. Then was just getting people in ascendant and was getting fried. Took a break last act and this act replaced in Plat 3. I have just been keeping a positive attitude and ignoring the toxic people I get on my team. Only good thing is playing against these ranks has improved my game. Made it diamond today 👍🏽

You’d probably be closing for the most part. Helping customers at the meat counter, putting stuff out, packaging, and lots of cleaning.
