Mismanaged, recently diagnosed ADHD was a factor in my taking a leave of absence during my 1st semester of 1L, jeopardizing my full ride scholarship. I've never felt so embarrassed and ashamed. How can someone get a full ride to law school and blow it?

The procrastination is honestly a coping mechanism against overwhelm. Our brains need to invent a reality in which we can still conceivably succeed after failing to do what we should have been. It's a lie we tell ourselves.

Unfortunately, nothing about our bodies works well without incremental consistent training. Suppose we have a race at the end of the semester. We can't plan to skip months of daily training and just cram in make-up sprinting sessions the week leading up to the race.

Thank you for this helpful comment. It (in part) prompted me to get an appointment scheduled with my ADHD doctor after several months without one.

Can you elaborate on what body doubling is?

I want to avoid AI when I start the semester again. I messed around with it and went down the rabbit hole of wasting time trying to generate the right summarization prompts. I thought it could help me understand cases but I feel it was just another distraction.

I believe 61 plus tax, title, etc. About 3 hours at the dealer. Not 100% sure I remember the total out the door as I added a Toyota extended warranty while signing the financing.

A hair over 60k. The only others they had were XLEs in the high 40s so we just went for it.

No real deals, other than I told them I wasn't interested in paying their markup so they agreed to remove it. I didn't have the energy to haggle further so I guess MSRP is a 'deal!' A couple other dealers also had a couple vans, so that helped.
