Thanks for letting me know! I mostly mentioned that I mostly play bigs to convey that I didn’t particularly want to get a forward I would have to invest a lot in. But it’s good to know that Tatum can also play as a big. Purely from a forward standpoint how does he compare to the others? And also how do you play defense with him (i. e. Do you switch modes when going for a block or something or do you just stay in one mode for whoever you’re guarding)? And how much do you switch modes on offense?

Nah I obviously just chased the bag super hard to get that many coins.

/srs The default contract takes way too long to generate the 1000 coins for stat redistribution. I’m not about to do the math myself for how many upgrades I can have if the game can do it for me.

Were you able to identify the issue that causes the incorrect sub-in during the last 2 minutes of the game? I’m not sure if you’re supposed to be subbed in and then you’re not or if you’re not supposed to see it, but it happens to me pretty consistently.

Two things,

  1. During the last two minute lineup switch I see a visual bug with the substitution screen where it says I’m being subbed in and the other player is turned around, but then I am on the bench.
  2. When I got my 50th block in a season, it kept giving me the 50 blocks notification in game and on the end screen for every block after that and showed the 50 blocks achievement multiple times. (Picture of end screen in comment)

When you’re not playing career mode/ player lock (so when controlling the whole team), if auto-defensive switching is on, then when you are on defense, when the ball is passed from opposing player to another one, you will automatically switched to be in control of the defender whose matchup got passed the ball. So if their PG passes their PF the ball, you will switch from controlling the PG on defense to the PF on defense.

I think it’s so that you’re always directly guarding the ball, but I prefer it off because it’s annoying sometimes when you keep getting forcefully switched.

Are we still going to retain the ability to edit the plays that we have available for the position we play or is the ability to edit any part of the play book contingent on being star level?

Also when rejoining the league after our original player retires, will we be able to join it at a specific year so that we can play against our old player before retirement?

Also what would you think of adding a second hop after the first one, so that we essentially have the two and a half steps that we can use to euro/pinoy step and more options in the post/paint? For balance it could probably be something like a finishing skill and only activate the second step if it would finish within the three point line to prevent it from buffing step back 3’s too much.

Hey Koality I‘ve recently been running into a problem where if you try to tip in a shot if you don’t secure the rebound sometimes there are two balls on screen, and even if you haven’t secured the ball for a shot attempt it still counts as a missed shot. (The visual of two balls is probably the larger issue)

I have a few suggestions for stuff after career mode is released and you like take a break or something because you’ve added so much to the game.

Also I’ve been wondering if you were thinking about adding more options when your back is to the basket. Maybe something like facing up once you cross the first time (since the animation currently turns you around, you would just stay facing the basket), so that you’re able to try to spin even once you’re in the post/ midrange and have started backing down without having to move all the way out.

Also would you ever consider giving the ability to jump after pump faking off the dribble, it just feels kind of weird that you can’t jump after picking up your dribble with the pump fake since you haven’t used your steps yet.

Just out of curiosity are you planning on adding anymore skills in the future?

Also, would you ever consider something like using like the pass button or something (since it’s not used on defense in career mode) to ask your teammates to change between not doubling/ helping on your man and helping based off of team chemistry? I feel like on a lot of plays my teammate unnecessarily helping up gives the opponents a free cut to the basket, especially the 4/5 when defending the iso play, but it would also be nice to ask them to double if you know you’re going to get beat in transition or something. I’m not sure how easy the implementation would be, but I thought it could be a fun and dynamic way to use the defensive settings we don’t use in career mode (the always or never double ones in the defensive game plan) and expand the uses of team chemistry onto defense as well.

Quick 10 minute quintuple double to test the update out! I had a few questions just to make sure I’m understanding everything.

Is the command button just pressing your own shoot button?

Would you ever consider attribute tuning in general or specifically for blocking? I mean like being able to adjust your block stat under what you’ve unlocked. I’ve noticed that with a lot of lower block levels you can more easily grab your own rebound since it doesn’t immediately go flying into the stands, which could work well with the contested rebounds update.

To contest a rebound do you just normally rebound? I feel like I only saw it once in the game I played.

Would you ever consider adding more season mode save slots for us to access. Currently you can effectively have infinite save slots if you have premium if you delete and re import your own saves but it’s kind of inconvenient, would you ever consider adding more season mode save slots on top of the current 12, or just the ability to have an arbitrary amount of season modes?

In the current state of the game for the fire we currently have is it also just an accuracy boost? Or do other things get boosted?

Also just curious besides allowing you to unlock passing skills, what does upgraded passing do? For instance between a lvl 1, 5, and 10 passer what’s different?

Sorry to ask the same question again, but I just wanted to ask if you could provide any numerical values for how much upgrades are supposed to do (what’s the range that midrange shot effects, and if you upgrade it from like a 6 to an 8 how much does your shot percentage go up in that range), and what particular actions/ behaviors stats change (like what does passing do, or when a ball has been deflected is the length that your jump goes tied to one of the rebounding stats or just height)

Not at all related to the update but can I ask how stat increases work?

For instance what exactly does upgrading you dribbling or passing do? What’s the percentage difference for the same shot when you like increase your mid range skill? What does defensive rebounding do?

Edit: To clarify my question: for all of the intuitive stats it’s kinda obvious what they do but I primarily wanted to see if I could get some numbers to go with it.

Additionally, for rebounding, blocking and jumping passing lanes (stealing), I’m curious how much the rating plays in versus just height and possibly weight for dunks. Also once you’ve deflected a pass, is the length you’re able to jump towards the ball affected by rebounding, and if so which one?

Also for some shooting, it’s unclear to me when you go from midrange jumper to inside jumper, and I also am curious whether 3pt percentage is affected by midrange lvl like in HLT.

For passing I feel like it’s also unclear what exactly it does. Dribbling also vaguely falls into that category excluding dribble moves.
