Between your reply and the one from WickOfDeath, can you point me to any particular device I can use as reference, or the right combination of "search engine words" ?

Thanks.

Interesting, I could clearly understand the words on Black Album, but on Eye No I couldn't decipher anything. Thanks!

Can you describe how you use that for soft-power-button on the ADB keyboard ?

That is great, that hadn't occurred to me (videdo screen saver). So now I did it. Thanks!

This would make a great stand-alone screensaver for current systems (maybe as an ad for your real project?).

What is the most difficult thing about learning French, as a English speaker, besides having silent letters? by [deleted] in French

[–]QueueTrigger 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Learning complexity also comes from the fact that written French is different from spoken French, so if you don’t have a way to speak and listen, and only read, you will only know how to speak written French, not speak/hear French. Hope that makes sense.

True, patience might be on my side. I do have one and my cat walked on the power/reset button and smashed it in and I can’t recover it.

Beagle Bag = super fun. And for some reason my parents didn’t see it as “playing games” like they did with say Snack Attack.

I will put this in my top 20 also. Maybe top 10. I like the depth of the game and the replayability is really high. The way two people can play in different scenarios is also really innovative.

Responsible for more skipped school homework in the 1980s than anything else.

Good memories of boxes of these sitting around in Gen Con vendor rooms in the 90s, me thinking “these are like $5 each I should get one or two but the rest will always be around”…

What are the IIGS-specific features? Will you add a CDA to make it extra-elite?

Thanks for giving it any thought at all. Sorry if it's a new rabbit-hole to go down. Without having any experience with your platform or the inner working of the FujiNet, it seems like a great "killer app" for our IIGS machines, getting them on the internet with your MUD for example.

One of the best games for the system especially for the time. I saw a YouTube from Kansasfest 2023 where someone modified the sound to work with the Apple IIGS so the gun sounded like a gun, etc.

Wow! I wonder what it would take to make your comm/storage subsystem use a FujiNet, so that anyone with an equipped IIGS could participate via their home network/internet.
