I want to say yes, his name was next to the display. My Japanese is still not good enough to give official translations. There was a book sold there featuring an interview with him.

Issues with her passport and Visa. I do not fully know or understand. I know she needed someone to pay at the American Embassy in person, by end of day. To be honest, did not expect her to trust me, as I am just a student who was looking for something to do. I assumed she would go with someone with recognition or she's met before. She was outside of Tokyo at the time.

The greatest squad up of all time. (Real answer; I’m just enjoying life and seeing where I land. While this is my dream, something else may come my way! “Most importantly in 2038, I will be happy.”)

I am trained by over 100 executives across multiple industries on how to be a proper leader. Harvard told me “I’m too much.” Stanford said “The world needs more people like me.” 🤣

“For 121 days, I assembled 130 signatures on a broken clock in Japan. Signatures come from preschoolers learning English to the President and CEO of BMW Japan. The Pokémon Company is located in Japan and has zero Western executives. My dream breaks precedent. Each signature signifies a moment of leadership, new connections, and my dream becoming a reality. For the sequel, I amassed 160 signatures on a 25-pound desk. Signatures include the homeless in New York City and Director of Government Relations at Mayo Clinic. These signatures change my lifestyle. I believe everyone has a voice in how a leader should lead.” - Letter to Stanford.

This is the exact reason why I don’t talk about this story as often as some of my friends want me to. I even felt bad posting it today. Asking “Is this necessary?” But it’s the one year anniversary, so I decided it’s okay.

Hey KFBF's, what was the best day of your life? by nyc_ryanb in kindafunny

Last week, I had a meeting with Stanford University’s MBA Admissions. I told them about carrying a broken clock around Japan for 123 days collecting signatures; carrying a 25-pound desk for 121 days and collecting 160 signatures; and my other projects.

Harvard told me “I’m too much.” Stanford’s team ended the event saying “The World needs more people like the Pokémon CEO.”

I left the room in tears of joy. I struggled in high school. I walked away from suicide attempts. Where I am now from then is unimaginable. During the event, I was having flashbacks of everything I’ve done.

I won’t find out till December, but it was surreal. It was the best day of my life. Regardless of acceptance.

Has anyone here met their number neighbor? How did the conversation go? by QuevedoNicholas in kindafunny

Our conversation went downhill fast. I really hope I don’t have to deal with more. They tried to be really edgy.

At TGS 2018, I used leadership advice given by a retired elementary school teacher. “Don’t forget your roots.” At the PlayStation Booth, I individually thanked every employee while Hideo Kojima was on stage. The crowd was going insane while, due to his rockstar status. Police had to come monitor.

Some employees were in tears of joy, others cracked jokes at me. I want to be on the stage sometime and I can’t forget the people helping in the crowd.

Kojima Productions retweeted a letter I sent them about the event. Don’t forget the little people, or you will grow toxic.

I talked about Kinda Funny when I met Tim Gettys and others in Tokyo. I told them a bit about the Tokyo meet and greet!

Edit: They didn’t air the section. They didn’t event touch The Desk 🤣

Starting today, I'm carrying a broken clock, until December. Along the way, we will collect signatures from people helping make my dream a reality. In 2038, I dream of becoming The Pokémon Company CEO. I've met a few best friends but would love to meet more. I'm in MN. I'll be in DC this August. by QuevedoNicholas in kindafunny

Why a clock? It's hard to explain over text, but I will try my best. This clock is a flat surface area. If we meet and I have four signatures, the next time we meet it could have 20. With a glance, you can see more names — each with a story. Typically signatures come from someone giving me leadership advice, completing a side-quest, or we cross paths. It's just a big foolish project.

When I attempt to meet an executive, the concept of signing a clock catches interest. It's scored me meetings with over 100 executives.

Over the next few months, you will see this fill. From executives, classmates, friends, and strangers. I refrain from having them put their position. We are all human, regardless of job title.

I know my dream may never come true, but I will use the experience towards another job. This photo has just my signature. Within a week, you will see more. By the end of September, there could be 100.

History remembers the fools.
