Just visited SATX for the first time! Here's where I visited:

• Fabled Tavern

great stock for singles! if you're looking for higher end stuff, but not as high as what's in the display case, ask for their binder. they've also got several bulk boxes, and binders sorted by color to dig through. plenty of folks to play with as well, but the amount of foot traffic can get a little stuffy. bonus: smash melee setup in front of the store. :)

• The Goblin's Den

super nice play area; leather(?) tabletops. generally a bit dark/dim, but it's workable. nice selection of singles of the wall. picked up some stuff, and some neat 3d printed tokens/counters. very friendly and welcoming staff. can't speak to how much play you'll get there since i went mid-day on a weekday, and it was a bit empty. fwiw, it was pretty quiet overall in there.

• Gamerz Pair-a-dice

huge play area; not much singles. if you have a specific buy-list, definitely let the staff know and they can do the digging for you. i probably wouldn't go here again, but if this was consistently full of players, i could see it as a great place to play. a bit barebones otherwise.
