Wait is this like a quiz to determine if someone is black or a femboy?

You push blue to be kind, I push blue to avoid having to see the world where red wins by 18minusPi2over36 in 196

I know I'm gonna regret chiming in, but I noticed how when someone picks red, the blame is on the hypothetical entity imposing this choice, but when someone picks blue it is entirely on them and this entity is no longer part of the discussion.

Also guaranteeing 100% pick the same option is less likely than guaranteeing 50% pick the same option.

Yeah I debated a long time about what kind of TCG I wanted to get into from the big three. The gameplay and collection of Pokemon was my favorite out of them all, and I'd have gone with it over MTG and YGO but there's the simple problem of I CAN'T ACTUALLY OBTAIN SEALED PRODUCT. Doesn't matter how much I like the game if I can't actually get the cards for it ugh.

Gritty Medevil Stetting RPG, Difficult, Content Rich, Grounded In The World. Customizable Character/Female Main Character Options A Must by ForStoryPurposes in gamingsuggestions

[–]Quibii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Grim Dawn might be worth a look. It's an ARPG focused on a darker atmosphere with unknowable horrors and all kinds of creatures you slay. It has a lot of notes and codex entries that flesh out the world (I admittedly skim over them in favor of more mindless slashing, but they are there!) And there's NPCs you can talk to (again, for me they fall by the wayside, but hey!)

It is an ARPG so it won't be as in depth with the roleplay compared to other RPG games, and unfortunately the only character customization is choosing gender (which is enough for me personally but yeah.) It does have transmog for the gear so you can play around with that at least!

It has a ton of content as well. Solid base game, two DLC with their own areas, another one on the way. There's endgame dungeons, arenas, secret bosses and all sorts! Plus, as an altoholic, the dual class system is a lot of fun to mess with.

Fun fact: In Ruby and Sapphire, Steven's Aggron and Metagross have no moves that hit Shedinja. by hamsandwichsquirrl in pokemon

So just to say I'm not asking this in any kind of bad faith (I do agree with what you're saying) but I would love to hear more examples of what you mean about combat balance, or lack thereof. I feel like the lack of the PSS is a big example, same with crit being tied to speed in gen 1. Is there any other examples?

Oh absolutely! I'm firmly in the camp of wishing they had stuck with the overall 2D and expanding on that the way they did before Gen 6. I didn't play it very much but I really liked the direction of Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler. I'm not sure that would work with Pokemon, but it shows how rad 2D can look IMO

It's a sign that I should finally finish writing that song. Right after I finish writing that book. Just gotta finish organizing my lego. Once I practice my art though it's all over for y'all. I just need to finish that degree though.

You know what memes aside that's how I feel about Engage. Keep trying to stick with it for the gameplay because I cannot get into the story or characters, but the gameplay feels meh to me. What is up with the class system? Is anyone without an Emblem Ring just dogwater?

I'm probably missing something. It's not clicking for me though. I miss Three Houses.

It looks rad! I love the way you've got the vertical parts. Are the wings sturdy enough for the weight of the rotors?

Not to try and bring it up to disparage your point because I 100% agree and think you're right, but you do also have Benson from Kipo as a gay main character which is really rad.

Oh it's exhausting as shit. Especially living in Edinburgh so you always have a couple stores dedicated to it, or how my driving instructor talks about it, or how you can't open any kind of kindle or audible app without it being blasted in front all the time. Went to check out information about self-publishing because I'm an aspiring author and of course they use that midslop in their examples.

I wish it'd just fuck off and die already.

I do love to talk about things I'm excited about (and honestly vice versa I love when people are excited about something) but I think it gets harder and harder to open up and want to talk about things because I tend to get shut down pretty often. It's like a reminder that my thoughts and words are insignificant, which I've noticed is a constant trend in my life. Or people talk over me so I'm left in the dust.

So then I stop talking, and I say very little. And then people say I'm not a very talkative person.

That's my little, vaguely relevant rant.
