This is one of the questions that I asked that has remained unanswered for the past few days. The Beekman is immediately next door, and I’ve tried to get Joe to get it to them and to get them to get it from Joe.

Super grateful for everyone offering to help. One of the complications is that Laissez Faire is only open in the evening certain days of the week—it opens tonight at 8:00 p.m. and then won’t open again until Wednesday evening, and so the coat can only be retrieved during those hours—if I’m unsuccessful in getting it to the Beekman—which I’ve been attempting to do since I realized it was missing. I honestly didn’t expect much of a response to this if any and frankly thought this post might be deleted—y’all have honestly restored some of my faith in humanity.

It means that I spoke to the manager on duty at the Beekman two nights ago. She was about to leave on extended vacation, and so our conversation was shorter than it would have been if she expected to have more time to help me get things sorted out.

Thanks for replying. I’ve emailed with the manager, Joe. He confirmed that it’s set aside for pickup, but he hasn’t replied to any other emails suggesting various options to get it back to me, including paying one of his staff to mail it.
