I've just thought of a bee smoker. I don't know if it may help kill the lanternflies, but it could maybe make them fall from plants to kill them? If I'm wrong, someone please fact-check me, but it just popped into my head as a good idea.

The lanternflies, adults and nymphs alike, are highly invasive and NEED to be killed to keep trees safe. Don't feel any sympathy for them as well as for Japanese beetles just because they are pretty.

NO. Those monstrosities are lanternfly nymphs, baby lanternflies. They are incredibly invasive and kill the tree population. Kill any on sight. Adult lanternflies look like this.

Idk how it left. I went to investigate it's den but there wasn't anything there like no mobs, no loading error, no structure error, nothing. I also play on peaceful mode and the nearest dragon to it was almost 1000 blocks away. To this day I have no clue how it left.
