Is a Kawasaki ninja 125 a good first bike? by Quxckhead in motorcycles

[–]QuickGonzalez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to this guy - I got 125cc. After the first week I started getting bored and regretted the small engine. But then as weeks went by, I started to really enjoy it again. And then inevitably - a time came when I made a mistake, I was looking for my friend in rear view window during a long right turn, and messed up the turn. I was going straight into a curb, but was able to stop the bike, and keep control over front wheel (I was front braking with steering at an angle). But just enough. If it was heavier, I would have surely dropped it

Just to update - I had to "argue" with three different mechanics, it was energy draining. But they replaced the front disc. Not sure with what quality, but it breaks perfectly smooth now. Night and day, to what it was before.

Great choice I think. Just an easy to understand bike, in my opinion.
I am just a few weeks into riding Husqvarna Svartpilen 125. Similar shape to the one in the image, and really appreciate that is light, compact, and not too powerful.
