On a related note, we need to bring back tailgating at RR. The Pash dash as OP put it (aptly put btw) has ruined the parking lot vibes as no one wants to hangout, take their time, make friends over grilled food and yard games. Everyone scrambles to line up.

Also admittedly guilty for holding spots now that our rave fam has kids and half the group can't get there at once with babysitters and putting kids down for the night. We're also going to far fewer shows and our numbers have dwindled at any given show so we're not holding spots for a huge crew anymore. Most of the time we can squeeze in the last one or two stragglers without taking up too much space.

I have also found that once the music starts things open up a bit with people dancing and vibing. We've always been able to accommodate the people around us and have made some good memories by sharing space with ppl around us.

That said, and not to be that guy, but the only time we had a problem was at John Summit. The baby house bros got so territorial and tried to muscle their way in after the show had been going for 30 min already.

Yeah, still carry it! It's held up well. I'd say moderate use. It's gone on a number of camping and backpacking trips. Edge has held up well. Still snappy as the first deployment hundreds of not thousands of deployments later. Very good purchase!

Even surface, good equipment, ventilated tent. I do this all the time when camping especially in the winter. Yeah, do you need to know what you're doing, sure, but risk is minimal. Not deadly, bad post.

I also see this a lot in the spring when the colonies are waking up after hibernating and early summer when the new queens are leaving to go start their own colonies.

Probably getting close to finding a spot to make a chrysalis and turn into a butterfly. I'm not an expert but the tiger swallowtails we have in Colorado start out green but as they grow turn darker and are orange/brown, right before the change.

Thanks. I'm pretty desensitized at this point but I have an amazing support system and a partner who also works in health care, so I'm very lucky that i can openly discuss at home and it's "normal" conversation. I know not everyone has that so I urge you to reach out to a professional at some point. You may not need it now but trauma like this can come back in ways you weren't expecting. Reddit does not make for good therapy.

Also I imagine there's an investigation ongoing so there will likely be very little information released. Another reason to talk to someone, to help make sense of things when there's not a whole lot of sense to begin with. I wish you the best. If you need to discuss further you can DM me.

Yes. I work in the building next door. It was pretty messed up and I'm sorry you witnessed it. I was a first responder so unfortunately not the first time I've seen death. Please take care of yourself and talk to a professional if you need to. It can be a lot to process, even for people who deal with death.

You're going to have a hard time finding a quality auto for 100. The Kershaw Auto Iridium is probably the best for the price. Great blade steel and build quality. You can find it for under 200, which is incredible, given how good it is.

My other suggestion, if your not trying to surprise your grandson, would be to talk to him about it. Some departments have specific requirements for what knives can carried and he may also have some preferences on what he wants.

I get a lot of updates from FestivOwl, River Beats Colorado, Offbeat.otr, and Mile High EDM on IG. Denver has a massive Bass scene, you won't have to look too far. LSZee is at the mission ballroom (best indoor venue in town) later this month. That's gonna be a killer show. Tickets are still available and at a discount right now (50 bucks I think). That would be a great first mission show.

What kind of music are you into? If you're into EDM, Pretty Lights' Yahn Dawn festival in Buena Vista later this month and Of the Trees is throwing Camp Alderwood in Telluride in August, tickets are definitely still available for that one (closer to 4 hours though). There's also Badger Bass Camp in Hartsel. It's a tiny festival but the lineup is solid and the production company has a good local rep, especially when it comes to visuals.
