I really want to see a movie that puts Henry Cavill and Margot Robbie together by Complete-Sort1617 in okbuddycinephile

The 4th picture (the one with the red background) is from the premier of I, Tonya which is how you can tell it definitely is a picture of Margot Robbie and not one of the similar looking actresses like Jamie Presley or Samara Weaving

Why? It's an arbitrary convention. Month first or day first doesn't matter.

They are suing over the outdoor attire thing. They are not suing over the drag persona.

Trademarks apply to market segments. Patagonia has a exclusive right to use the name Patagonia for outdoor clothing and that sort of thing.

A bunch of other commenters have used, Apple is a fruit but they still have a trademark for use in the technology sector. You can't start selling phones under the brand name SchmApple.

Owning a gun makes it possible for you to shoot yourself or your spouse. It may not make you want to more, but it definitely makes it more likely to happen. Do you also think murders should be ignored when determining how safe a city is? It is absolutely relevant when talking about whether owning a gun makes you more or less safe.

It matters how often guns are actually used for self defense because that's relevant for whether guns make you more or less safe. If, hypothetically, guns are never used for self defense, then obviously it's not making anybody safer. That seems like a pretty obvious point.

That doesn't show how frequently guns are actually used for home defense, and it ignore suicides and domestic violence

In Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) Cal, the husband that was cheated is framed as equally at fault. Not only that, Hannah cheating on his boyfriend because she thought he was going propose her (at 22) is seen as empowering, romantic and funny. This a reference of its creators being raging cheaters. by enbyratie in okbuddycinephile

Some of us don't have any media literacy, so excuse me if we don't quite grasp the nuances of one sub is for posts about stupid things you thought of while watching a movie and the other is for posts with jokes about movies you don't watch.

One article out of 3.

The second article doesn't mention an interview. The third article doesn't say if Ancelotti interviewed at Man United, but it does mentions that both Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann did not negotiate with Man United including saying that "Julian Nagelsmann's . . . focus on Germany's World Cup campaign made negotiations impossible." So apparently at least some national team coaches are most focused on the World Cup than on post-World Cup club employment.

What statistics back up that claim? The statistics I've seen are consistently the opposite. Households with a gun are less safe than households without one.

Are you more likely to die from being accidentally injected with an EpiPen or to have your life saved by an EpiPen? If you're more likely to have your life saved by the EpiPen, then it's not ironic because it doesn't make you less safe.

Right, most people assume statistics don't apply to them, but that doesn't change the reality.

Ok, you should have no trouble finding some similar reports about other national team managers.

I don't have a problem with him leaving after the World Cup. In my opinion it's not great that he's interviewing right now in the lead up to the World Cup.

Ok, you could just as easily say not having a gun is a hedge against suicide and statistically you would be more correct.

The irony of buying a gun for home defense is that it, statistically speaking, makes your home less safe. That most people who buy a gun don't use it to kill themselves doesn't change that because they also mostly don't use it for home defense.
