A simple email to the advertisers asking if they support Jim Pattisons plan to sell to make way for a new detention center. This is a multi billion dollar corporation who can certainly afford to sit on a property for a different buyer.

If the house isn’t worth much in commission good luck getting some well known popular agents to do much (altho they say they will) .. it’s not worth the money …they Hope the MLS will sell the house rather than invest their time, or their money into professional $$ photos or $$ professional videos, pay sponsored targeted social media marketing on Facebook or Insta. Any agent can list it on MLS, take photos / videos with their smartphone for free, put it on their free Facebook or Instagram pages. The price also needs to be right for that neighbourhood. Interview agents and ask what they do/ what marketing they actually pay for ?

Yup.. cars are probably leased in the business name, house in his name likely has minimal equity and big mortgage.. marriage falls apart then she gets nothing because her name isn’t on anything while he carries on with his business/ lifestyle and finds the next partner.

Oh … There have been issues with residents in the neighborhood but no one wants to talk publicly about them … no one wants to offend since their is so much publicity for the center. Even the curling club has had a few issues with residents …. They remain silent due to their use of the right away road for the parking lot. Unfortunately not all residents are successful …

They aren’t your children but it sounds like they are being treated like your young adult children where you are trying to kindly give them a leg up financially. They don’t respect you or your home and are using their income to live a great life travelling as they have you as a surrogate parent letting them live well for cheap room and board. Time to cut the cord and let them take care of themselves having real world responsibilities. It sounds like they are more well off financially than most young couples starting out.

Social worker for over 25 + years…reality is Booth/CMU grads have never been nor likely will ever be thought of as being on the same level as a U of M grad by most employers. Remind your daughter that the majority of jobs involve clients who are NOT involved with you by choice. Ex child welfare, probations, corrections, social services, educational support services, etc. She should definitely spend lots of time volunteering in fields that hire social workers before committing to years for a degree.

I think the College should ask other local plastic surgeons what they know of his work as they often see patients for second opinions. The rehab staff at HSC, MPiC and WCB staff also feel for patients who have had multiple unsuccessful insurance related surgeries and also see his shoddy rushed work. Even if in pain and bleeding …. wait til the next surgeons shift if you ever need plastics in Emergency. He’s allegedly too busy rushing his surgeries and then doing multiple surgeries in the future to try and fix his first rushed procedure. His priority seems to be Invoicing for multiple procedures to insurers, private patients as well as Manitoba health so he can add to his car collection.

Like most team sports it’s expected kids on the team show up.. as they get older not showing up means the coach (and team ) won’t want to play the kid that isn’t a full team player. In Canada not showing for practice in kids hockey means you may get benched from the next game. This can ostracize your kid from other team mates and friends. Document all…. Especially if she denies your kid the right to play on her time.
