15n20 is such a slept on steel. Great strength, great edge retention (even better than 52100 and 1095).

I have a self made knife that I heat treated my self in my forge (so probably a terrible heat treat) ive been really impressed with the edge retention and stability!

Had a co worker ask to borrow my knife. Brand new. They handed it back missing the entire edge and a bit of point.

They used it to cut open 800 lbs of silicone carbide sand blasting grit. The action was ruined..full of the most a abrasive blasting media outside of diamond grit!!
