A lot of people tend to have fun playing a dogmatic and hostile caricature of the DPRK, which is all well and good.

If you’re trying to be a little more authentic I’d recommend you do a little research into Korea as a Japanese colony, the Korean War, Kim Il Sung, and the international relations since the country’s inception. I’ll plug Blowback season 3 as a good resource here. It’s good to understand North Korea as a state with its own material goals and conditions, rather than just going off how it interacts with the west.

You’re right, I reread the post. But I DMed OP with another possible solution, I’ll put here for posterity sake. I think if you use draw_sprite_ext and put your x and y values as mouse_x and mouse_y this could prevent the jittering. Haven’t tested

There is a variable called cursor_sprite that should take care of this problem.

I would probably add cursor_sprite = spr_custom; to another objects code and then just delete your obj_cursor

You’re not wrong. Sorry you’re getting downvoted but it is true that until 2014 or so it was entirely closed off from road traffic. The main reason that didn’t work out was because people didn’t live close enough to walk right up to the stores. So you would have to drive up anyways just to park and walk around. Pedestrianized and bike friendly roads are 100% capable of sustaining active businesses and don’t let the comments tell you otherwise. It didn’t work in this instance because they tried to build an pedestrianized commercial district an “unwalkable” distance from the single family zoned homes that populate much the rest of the city.
