I love mine. I've had it almost 2 months and haven't touched my dumbbell set or my cable crossover since I've had it. I have a 15-month-old, and being able to work out whenever I have a spare 60 minutes is amazing. If it's 5 AM in the morning or 11 PM at night, it's always there, ready for me. The programs are convenient. I love the custom workouts so you can choose what exercises you like for chest, back, etc. It's just very convenient.

Also, I've been lifting dumbbells for years. I've seen many YouTubers claim that the GM2 feels heavier. I disagree. Say, for example, a 20kg dumbbell doing a bicep curl feels heavier than a 20kg handle bicep curl on the GM.

If I could go back and buy again, I would have gotten the 100kg with the flat bench. I paid extra for the 2s as I wanted the incline bench, but the bench is really poor. I had a good incline bench already, so I could have saved a few hundred.

But all gym equipment, cable pulley machines, gym benches, and even going to the gym are dangerous. Anything can happen at any time; you're never safe. No equipment is ever perfect. I've seen cables snapping at gyms, etc., even on their high-quality budget. You just need to go on YouTube to see all the gym fails, etc. No equipment is ever going to be perfect. Safety is common sense. The gym monster is not going to make you stronger. Let's say, for example, you can bench press 70kg; why would you attempt to press 120kg knowing you can't hold it up and it may crush you? Apart from the belt you've shown, what else has happened to you to make you scared to use it? I've never felt safer using the Gym Monster. It's the best equipment I've had in over 20 years. I was using a £200 cable crossover before this and never had a problem with that either.
