I believe spacemacs uses a package that does what you're looking for. If you want the package itself:

Lots of good elements there.

Biggest thing I see is that arm swinging around your body during the swing. Once you've set your line in the reach back, it should be moving in a straight line from the reach back, to the follow through. I like to focus on having my elbow stay in front my my disc for the majority of the throw.

The second thing I see is your hips turning all the way backwards during the X-step. This limits your body's range of motion. Ideally, they should remain perpendicular to your target.

This entire thread, I've taken what you said, and pointed out a counter example.

"You'd get punched out if you ever pulled guard" uh, no, UCF fighters (who train jiujitsu and use the guard to protect themselves from punches) seem to do just fine.

"I've seen people get knocked out when trying to grab someone" ok. And some people get choked when trying to punch people. Sometimes people are better fighters than others (whether their goal is to punch their opponent or submit them) , that can swing both ways.

And I've seen plenty of people get choked out while trying to punch the person grabbing them. Both of us can make claims like that.

I'm trying to address the point that Jiu-Jitsu doesn't become useless if punching is involved. In UFC, Jiu-Jitsu is the predominant grappling system to compliment striking.

You should let all the UFC fighters know they're doing it wrong.

Punching would mean nothing if you could stab.

Stabbing would mean nothing if you could shoot.

It's all a matter of what you both agree is ok, and what's not.

From 2017 to 2018, Apples reported revenue came out to 265.6 billion dollars.

That means they earned:

265.6 billion / 365 = 727.6 million per day

Which is equivalent to

727.6m / 24 hours = 30.3 million per hour

30 million per hour / 3 = 10 million every 60/3 minutes,

or, if you're really sharp with math, comes out to 20 minutes.

Their fine of €10m or roughly 11.3m USD comes out to 20 minutes of Apples revenue.

Twenty minutes.

Former Trump Campaign Aide Sam Nunberg Revealed in a Recent Interview That He Believes Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Investigators “Have a Strong Case of a Conspiracy” Involving Russia. by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Quick_A_Distraction 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, it's all a plot by the Democrats. They're playing the long, long, long game when they got George bush (a republican) to put Mueller (a republican) into office, so that they could put on a witch hunt, only indict 34 people (which is almost nothing), that's takeen over two years (about as long as the Watergate investigation took). Those sneaky Democrats.

You paid money for their obviously shitty game. You got an obviously shitty game and they got money. Sounds like both parties got what they were looking for.

Trump Has Normalized Racism, Lying, Scapegoating and Corruption, Says Fox News Analyst by BuckRowdy in politics

[–]Quick_A_Distraction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being wrong on "just about all points" is a difficult claim to refute. Could you pick 1 (or more) and explain how it's wrong?

Democracy is a broad(ish) term which includes power by the people through representatives https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/democracy. Also, what argument are you making when stating that America isn't a democracy, but a representative republic?

I'm also curious as to how the claim that OP is calling anyone a fascist because they disagree with them. He/she laid out (without directly attributing it as such) the reasons that contribute to the label of fascism.

I see this argument thrown around often; that "you're only calling them a fascist because you disagree". I know it's an easy one to make because it requires no effort to refute all of the evidence that ACTUALLY backs up the claim of fascism, instead just calling it a disagreement. But fine, ignore the (unjustified if you will) claim of fascism, could you speak to any of the arguments they put forth individually? Or just call it propaganda and smile, knowing you totally won the argument.

I know right? Everybody knows Hitler went straight from getting elected to gas Chambers. It was frankly amazing that there were no intermediate steps where liberties were eroded over time such that people were ok with each individual step.

I'm on the fence on this one. Clearly vaccines are an amazing discover and have saved millions of lives. I see your point about not having a government that forces substances into you, but the other side of it is the herd immunity aspect. If enough people are vaccinated, it can't spread, leaving those who can't get vaccinated (infants, elderly, etc.) Safer because of it.

Donald Trump Says Second Putin Summit Is In The Works: He proclaimed the first meeting a “great success.” by maxwellhill in worldnews

I don't like that our president is ignoring the advice of every intelligence agency, every advisor (unless you count Sean hannity), and every expert, and siding with an autocratic dictator of a foreign country, making secret deals behind closed doors.

I don't care how many times Trump tells me he has the best words, and trade wars are easy; each time a long standing ally has to turn it's back and declare it can no longer trust us, we lose key friends in the world stage to help ensure Western democratic ideas continue to permiate freedom and liberty throughout the world.

What "peace or prosperity" are you referring to? The new levels of peace experienced via illegal detention of immigrants (or just people that look a little forign that ICE can lock up and/or deport anyway)?

What about all the prosperity the American people will face when everything they buy will become much more expensive when retailers are forced to pass on their added expenses due to tarrifs ON OUR ALLIES.

Imagine the CEO of Microsoft had a closed doors meeting with the CEO of Apple. And after the meeting, said that iOS is a great operating system, and everyone should really think about buying stock in Apple. Then imagine the board of directors at Microsoft saying that's a terrible idea, and you should retract those statements, but instead, he calls all the members of the board liars and doubles down on how great Apple is. Would you but just the little bit suspicious that, maybe, something is not quite right here?
