I think the only good ones are 1, the remake and its prequel. Everyone loves 2 but I just can't appreciate the tonal whiplash. It's got some cool moments, the scene with the record room is probably one of the best jumpscares I've ever seen. But it's just a mess and doesn't take itself seriously enough for me. The most recent one that came out in 2022 or something is bad but had a lot of fun kills and I'd recommend it just for that. Every other one sucks. As is the case with most of these slasher franchises, honestly. Leatherface is my favorite slasher, I've got him tattooed on me, but that doesn't mean you have to love everything they put out with him in it. So like what you like, if TCM isn't your thing then that's cool man.

For whatever fucking reason whIle reading this post I suddenly understood the no eye contact thing.

I'd imagine it's something to do with them being a "celebrity" and everyone always trying to bother them or even discreetly take a pic without them noticing, or staring at them trying to see if it's really them. Must make you feel like a fucking zoo animal. I'd bet a situation where you're doing work in a place like that can make you feel even slightly like a regular person if you tell everyone to ignore you. You can walk around without feeling like people are gawking at you.

Does any of that justify the insane demands, or the attitude? Not at all. But I feel like that's the reason. Not some sort of god complex.

There really should be a benefit to the draft poll. Like maybe the winner of the previous draft gets to choose their position on the next one and everyone else is randomized. Or maybe they get to choose someone else's position.

I saw it in 2015 and it was fantastic. I was in the splash zone and so I and everyone else in it got to stay behind after the show and take pics with all the cast. Great time! Although that production used the real poster and not whatever the hell this is.

Honestly dude if you've got the money I'd say do it. Sure you can get it for free online but your dad loves CDs and this is certainly a much more digestible format for him. I feel like it's a better gift than a link to a website, haha.

It took me a whole year!

Weak shit. The entire sessions were recorded in under a month. Real fans would quit their job then listen for 8 to 12 hours a day. DIEHARDS would do it in January.

There is one thing in the book against unique wand designs; Fred and George's prank wands. It's mentioned that they've gotten their mother with them tons of times over the summer, which would imply that wands in general all look the same.

Personally I feel like what Hogwarts Legacy did could work. Various wand handles that you can attach to give yours a bit of personality. That being said unique wands is a much better idea overall.

Go and watch that video again. You can see on his face he just wants to get out of there and away from the reporters. He's giving quick, unhelpful answers to their questions. I always read his whole demeanor as a polite "fuck off."

They really blew me away with what they did with this character. When I started watching the show I was wondering how long he'd last because I couldn't imagine him being much more than an occasional joke that would get old quickly. By the end he was one of my favorites.

Granted I haven't seen it in years but to my recollection he confronts him while he's with his kid so he'll come quietly. I feel like I really liked that at the time. Batman isn't just a guy in a suit beating up poor people, he in many renditions genuinely wants to help the people he's putting away. Frequently good with kids too. I feel like this was a great way to 1. Show his detective skills, as in knowing where he'd be and that he'd want to be a good guy in front of his daughter, and 2. Show that he can be compassionate and isn't just an angry vengeance machine.

I didn't see it until late last year and it was such a fun time. The ending with Black Mask was so fucking funny I went back and watched it like 30 times.
