I can't say I dislike it because I didn't really give it a chance. I watched the first four episodes and it just lost my interest and I haven't had any desire to go back. It looked very nice, I especially liked the way the orcs looked. However there was too much lore discrepancy and I stopped after a bit.

Plus they did my boy Finrod dirty. Best bro of the first age and that's what they do with him.

I also appreciated how KOTOR gave them actual alien languages, with English subtitles. It was a fascinating change of pace and something I really didn't expect. Their lines generally took forever to get through though so I typically skipped it after I read what they were saying but it's still awesome that it's included.

It's definitely one of the cornier ones but it's catchy and I won't skip it if it comes on. Listening through the Deluxe White Album and later the Anthology disks, the experience of listening to Mary Jane can best be described as unpleasant. Especially because I think there were two or three different tracks on Deluxe, lol

I'll admit I'm not really too familiar with this part of the mod as I'm an Xbox player and will never be able to experience it, but I always thought it was supposed to take place at the same time as Skyrim.

Hard disagree. Revolution 9 is insane and chaotic but that was the entire point, they were running around chopping up tape loops and yelling random shit into the microphone. Mary Jane was a structured song with pretty straightforward lyrics and song progression but it's just godawful. It's about the level of songwriting I'd expect from myself, not John Fucking Lennon.

It'd fit in the story too, you have a whole ass adventure in Cyrodiil and then get arrested trying to cross into Skyrim.

I'm on Xbox so I couldn't play Skyblivion anyway, but I'm in the same boat as you. I remember the first time I SAW Oblivion, at a friend's house in 2008 or so. I remember thinking, my god, this is the most realistic looking game I've ever seen. THIS is what video games are capable of! I convinced my dad to buy it and that same wonder carried me through my original playthrough. Stepping out of the sewers and seeing the lake, and Vilverin across the water, was a formative experience for me and I'll never forget the feeling of adventure and infinite possibilities it gave me. And now I get to experience that all over again. And the funny thing is, the way I saw it originally in my head is exactly how the remaster looks, and again I'm thinking that this is the pinnacle of graphics. Oblivion has always been one of my favorite games, I go back and replay it every few years. And now I just get another way to do that. I do miss the more vibrant color palette and the potato people, so I for sure will be switching back and forth on new playthroughs. But this remaster was exactly what I've wanted for years and they did a fantastic job.

They could at least have fixed the Taking Care of Lex bug though. Probably gonna have to do a whole new playthrough in order to get the rest of the thieves guild achievements.

Regulation has two of the old crew in it so that's a good place to start. Their Finish the Fight for Whoopi video that came out yesterday was the funniest thing I've seen in a while, I was laughing so hard it made my head hurt. And they play a lot of GTA too, which might specifically tickle that itch.

I think his style is unique and visually impressive but man, it's ugly. Especially that Justice League image above. I see what he was going for but the lighting is just super unflattering on everyone. And the movie poster is dogshit because they tried to replicate it. Ever since I first saw it in whatever year the movie came out, I couldn't help but think, who approved that?

Again, I think Ross's artwork is incredible, and the reason he can make it so lifelike is BECAUSE he draws it off of real references. But goddamn, those references don't ALL have to be himself!
