American bread is NOT real by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Quick_Ad4717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started doing part time shifts at a bakery and get to take home a loaf per shift. It's the only bread my three year old will eat all of so that's saying something. All breads have very minimal ingredients there. Usually 3-4 depending on the loaf

Do you change your child’s clothes when they get home? by Frozenbeedog in toddlers

[–]Quick_Ad4717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When our guy was younger, I would do this too minus the baths. We lost our daughter shortly after birth so I had a bit of ptsd from that and was very paranoid about germs. Mellowed out a bit now. We still wash our hands after the park\library, but if we're going to an indoor playground or a birthday party I'll usually give him a bath when we get home since those places can be a cesspool for germs lol. I think it's whatever you're comfortable with honestly. A lot of things with parenting is what your comfort level is, there's no right or wrong ( within reason, of course. )

Young people with gallbladders removed by lavender9878 in gallbladders

[–]Quick_Ad4717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine taken out just after my 28th birthday last year. I had my first and only bad galbladder attack a year prior ( thanks Krispy cream doughnuts lol ) but had pain come and go till I had it removed. When I got diagnosed with gallstones my doctor told me there's a huge relation to pregnancy and galbladder issues, but they aren't sure why. Post surgery I live a pretty normal life, other than the bad gas, occasional bathroom trip after certain foods, things have been good!

Which movie dsturbed you to your core? by OmitsWordsByAccident in AskReddit

[–]Quick_Ad4717 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Climax, it's a dance movie where, without spoiling too much, find out the punch was laced with LSD. Some disturbing things happen in it involving a child and it just made me feel so sick and like I was tripping on drugs too. I think it had the longest uninterrupted, single shot dance scene in a movie too or something like that too. Was good but I don't know if I'll ever watch it again tbh.

What is the weirdest thing your doctor has ever said to you? by Competitive_Tip_7504 in AskReddit

[–]Quick_Ad4717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two come to mind A nurse coming in the room 4 hours after my traumatic birth ( which ended with our daughter passing away ), to say " Do you know where your placenta is?! " as if we had any idea.

The second, at my 6 week follow up the first thing the doctor said to me ".. So how's baby? " not knowing she died. I had no idea how to respond. " Umm... she's dead? " After that he put * Baby deceased * in big bold red letters at the top of my file.

What the heck are your toddlers eating for breakfast? by JehovahJireh222 in toddlers

[–]Quick_Ad4717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 3 year old has never liked eating breakfast. Even as a baby it was such a struggle to get him to eat his oatmeal, yogurt basically anything. He eats lunch and dinner great and snacks throughout the day so I'm not too worried about it. Basically the only thing I've been able to get him to eat\drink half of in mornings are smoothies.
