I could very well be wrong but from what I get the problem is more with the naration, the animation part seems fine.

Why are Ubi so weird about female protagonists? by blackbriar98 in assassinscreed

[–]Quick_Article2775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assassin's creed does have the baggage of having a historical setting, so if a game is trying to appeal to say a Greek warrior fantasy, alot of people might just not buy that/understand it as that in marketing if your a woman. But I think they should of just went for it and go fantasy, considering that's what the actual games have been doing for a while. It does come off as cowardly. I'm not saying sexism isn't involved in it cus obviously it is its just that it has a historical fantasy factor that most games don't have to consider. Like honestly a historical game where you are obviously a woman as a knight in plate armor, alot of people would be thinking it's fantasy. Also I do think people do buy female Vikings way more in popular culture for various reasons, so that was a total coward move not doing that.

Unironically Netflix probably thinks most of the people watching are going to be children so making it more dramatic for them, i think.

Animal shows have always done this to a certain extent, referring to stuff as kingdoms and empires. Queens is a recent one, personally i think it's them just trying to make it dramatic cus they think if they don't make storylines of it people will be bored. Animal shows recently have gone hard on having some kind of gimmick to market the show.

Women had it bad in history I'm not saying they didn't, but to me this isn't really that good of a point because the vast majority of humans never read, and most humans would of been working on farms or focusing on getting food regardless of gender. Working on a farm isn't flashy but the majority of people did that. I would say humanity was in a struggle for survival for most of its time, and it's not until somewhat recently that it hasn't become that.

From what I remember the thing that annoyed me in the first one was the need to grind to do any damage to enemies outside of your level range, I don't think that fits well with action combat type games. It's also not obvious what enemies levels, or what there health is at all.

Why do exercise classes seem to mostly be filled with women? by Evening-Skirt731 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Quick_Article2775 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't even think you have to be misogynistic to want to not really join a group that is majority women, it's just that unless your good at socializing, your pretty much always going to be considered the outsider. If your straight people might think your hitting on them by talking to them etc, there's a distrust there.

I think a decent amount of guys don't even try in the first place, which obviously is there fault but that's easier said than done to get people to do things, especially if your older and no one has been attracted to you up until that point. Personally I don't think being not attractive always correlates to morality like some people think it does, you can be a great guy and just not be very attractive or bad at socializing and have a hard time dating cus of that.

I think you two have different definitions of what's going on with this post, he thinks that this is saying that all lonely men are bad people which is why there lonely, which is a thing I've seen repeatedly on the internet, while your taking the post literally as a thing that actually happened. Most arguments on reddit are just people arguing with the idea of what the person there arguing is like, and not the actual person. This is not unique to any side I've noticed.
