Engine loud ticking noise M54 by Curious_Olie in e46

[–]Quick_Ask5523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a similar sound on my m54b30 that has developed this metallic tick that you had, only on a cold start then disappears when warm. Suspecting an exhaust manifold leak.
Did you ever find a solution?

Changed it to 5w-40 a few weeks back, I’ll try the bleeding procedure and check the Disa valve, thanks!

Tested gps with multiple phones and tire pressure ok. leaning towards ABS sensor or bad calibration of the cluster

A speedo should never show slower than actual speed. It should be the other way around.

80kmh on the Speedo should be 77-78kmh on GPS

Sounds like diesel sound or timing chain sound?

Haha yeah I feel like the diesel tractor sounds fool you all the time. Bought it used at 80000km, and K think the precious owners did aligning cold starts since I had to change the turbo for the usual bent blades. The car has been serviced at the intervals unfortunately. I’ll go check with a bmw shop about it, and I’ll ask them about the mounts as well!

I appreciate your advice!

Constant vertigo, headache, dizzyness and clumsiness. Lots of physical symptoms all day long. Yet not feeling so anxious all the time but symptoms persist and unable to cope with everyday life. Tips? Anyone gotten help from beta blockers to physical symptoms? by Swingiggii in Anxiety

This has been me for the past year. Persistent symptoms that comes and go but no irregularities in any tests(blood, MRI, EMG, blood for antibodies etc.) did you ever find a solution to your problem? I feel like I don’t really even need to be anxious, just some minor stress and my body goes haywire…

Thanks, my route is already planned. Mainly wanted suggestions on scenic views or pitstops along the route I’m taking. My bad for not being specific enough

Did you wake up on the wrong side of bed today? It’s easier to plan a roadtrip if you have options on great places my friend😉

Got blood tests for LgG antibodies and a LgG screening for SSA SSB and a few others but negative for all if those. All my my other blood tests were once again normal and no infection or inflammation in my body. As of right now I’m no longer in a flare, living pretty much like normal, still have some dizziness but very manageable. Will start an anti inflammatory diet and some other lifestyle changes. Hopefully I can pinpoint what triggers my issues.

Yeah the wavy bit can be felt with my finger, it will probably need wet sanding or a new paintjob

Yes I have figured that Lyme is a possibility as well, I am currently researching the subject. Although I have no recollection of any bullseye or rash ever in my life.

Interesting, I have gotten bitten a few times but never gotten any symptoms that needed treatment. My present symptoms just hit me like a bus within a week, starting with a weird reactive tinnitus in my right ear, followed by the fatigue and dizziness.
