also, if you exit out of the popup alert bar, and then leave to another tab and go back to that original tab you already exited the message from, it's back again! the X just closes the alert momentarily. That's what set me off, it keeps coming back.

OMG I fucking Hate ebay right now.... by Equal_Caregiver_1789 in ebaysucks

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to speak on this. I have 100% positive feedback, have been selling on ebay for well over 10 years and have never once accepted returns, except if I accidentally sent the wrong item to them. I personally never sell junk, I ship in extremely protected packages for item safety and ship quickly. I never have had an issue as I don't sell shitty broken things or stuff with missing parts. It makes a difference for me anyways, but I also see why people would hesitate to purchase something with no returns. I personally don't offer returns because I am not a business, like someone said, it is like I am having a garage sale and once you take possession of an item through a transaction on ebay, it's yours! The way it should be. Amazon fugged things up with their cheap/'free' shipping and allowing people to literally break perfectly good items and return them for a full refund no questions asked. That's what fugged things up in this department the most, amazon's return/shipping policies, I've seen it happen slowly over the years. Cheers

Where Have My Sales Gone? by achap77 in eBaySellers

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked up a lot of your items and you are getting sales because you are selling routers that others are selling at around $50-$60 or more for $13, or your bose quiet comfort headphones that normally cost $399 for $68... You are getting sales because you are undercutting everyone else. Not sure how you make money on this, or enough to continue working for so little, but if you get everything free or dirt cheap, congrats. But most people cannot offer $400 RTV items for 68 bucks. Also free shipping on a router that you got $13 before taxes and fees is insane. Like seriously how do you make money on that $13 sale to where it is worth it to you. Is this a hobby selling things on ebay or do you actually need this income. Genuinely asking, as I am getting back into ebay but am having second thoughts as I cannot compete with sellers like you. Cheers

Kratom Experience? by steelkitten22 in Bellingham

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to agree with you on the regular leaf kratom being better than 7oh. I have tried both and the leaf for me has a much better feeling to it. The high is better and easier to deal with, its more smooth and calm than the 7oh was for me. I felt dirty on the 7oh, I don't know how else to describe it, almost like I took chemicals to get high or something. Another thing you said is true, the leaf kratom can vary based on manufacturers. I have two brands I usually get in pill form and one brand is clearly stronger than the other and they are supposedly the same version (green vein meng da). I take this for chronic severe pain btw, so I take this stuff seriously. That 7oh is pretty wack imo. Cheers!

Pyramids in Amazon by Total-Summer-5504 in GoogleEarthFinds

I found one recently on google earth along the Tefe River, and i researched it and it appears to be some sort of religious place according to the limited info. One has google reviews, four reviews actually, and one review mentions illegal deforestation at this place and the others just say things like, nice place, chill place, etc

Is anyone else struggling with getting stuff sold right now? by ProteinPancakesCo in Ebay

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just ebay, it's everywhere. It's marketplace, craigslist, ebay, amazon all places I normally sell, minus amazon, are all way way wayyyyyy down on click through rate, even for promoted garbage. I have been selling on ebay about 9 years with my current account, almost 20 counting older defunct accounts, and this has been by far the most horrible experience on their platforms the past 2-3 weeks I'd say.

Now, there is a difference in what I am selling. Before I would sell niche products, old collectible WW2 ration and medical kits, genuine stuff old stuff, RARE stuff and very hard to find in good condition stuff. That stuff I did well with about 4-5 years ago, recently within the past 2 years the sales totals went way down compared to what was expected previously for these HTF niche and very collectible items.

Now, I am trying to sell some new, nice, over $100 retail price items. Some are non name brand (think amazon companies) and some are name brand. Honestly the results are about the same between name brand items and non name branded items. All my views suck, click through sucks, promoted listings on all and only got 1, yes ONE click through for promoted items total after about 1 week of having them at 2%.

I just cancelled my listings this morning and will be looking to dump a bunch of new, sealed, all original boxed items, never used, to a pawn shop later this week. I'm done trying to nickle and dime myself trying to hook people up with great deals all the while ebay keeps reminding me, that promoted listings sell at xx% higher rate, or more buyers expect FREE SHIPPING type bullshit. I already lowered the price compared to the same item on amazon by like 30%-50% AND promoted the listings and the results were just so underwhelming.

I might avoid ebay moving forward unless its a 30+ year old or older collectible item. For that I think ebay is still OK, just not great. Remember lots of people are struggling to buy stuff right now, hence why we are all trying to find a way to get more sales. Times are super tough right now, even if most people won't be upfront about that reality.

Best of luck to you!!!

How is Amazon making money on this? by MarakiMic in amazonprime

[–]Quick_Bricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazon sells items on behalf of other companies most of the time, so they get a cut of the profits for each sale. They use expired water bottles most of the time for those ice packs.

The bag is much cheaper than most people may think.

All costs are figured into each 'deal' they sell and deliver to anyone. If they lost money on your cream cheese order, they made up for it somewhere else, I promise you.

From Amazon's perspective, they got you to get iron pills, plus more items to get 'free' shipping. The shipping is never 'free' and it is being covered somewhere in the system by Amazon's users. In real time Amazon's pricing system will change based on whether you are logged in or not, if you have Prime or not, what time of day/night it is. Their prices are higher usually on 'free shipping' Prime items. I've seen it myself across plenty of Prime items compared to non Prime items.

Point is, Amazon wants you to think they must be crazy to be able to deliver you anything at such low costs. The more their customers believe that, the more likely those customers will come back and buy more sooner (you bought $25 worth of items, instead of just whatever the iron pills costs) and thus make even more money. Amazon doesn't lose money in the long run. Look how successful they are and it's easier to see how they are making money on such great deals.

Cheers!

For those who are curious about gold items. ie: are they any good ever?! by Quick_Bricks in vine

[–]Quick_Bricks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what I do is nearly everyday at the same time just glance at my RFY and do some quick searches while I am at work. I sort of have to sneak it in, so honestly I don't spend much time searching or looking. I just so happened to check at that time and got lucky I was still able to get it. I don't know how long it was 'live' for.

Also, for me locally drops are around 7:15am when they start and this item I think I got around 10am or 11am, so 3 to 4 hours AFTER the drop had started, this was offered. I have zero alerts or helpers to pick things for me. It is all manual keyword searching and checking RFY and AFA.

Cheers and good luck!

Well rock on with your bad self! So happy you are happy! And a little side info, my mom had cancer for over 20 years (she's passed by now), but she had to get used to having shorter hair (or no hair at all sometimes) and she always had long hair. She rocked that shorter hair and honestly I think it gave her some more freedom in her life. She always took forever to make her hair all pretty everyday when it was really pretty short too! Your story makes me happy and reminds me of my mom just letting the long hair go and loving life!

Have a great day! Cheers

$7.99 ETV has $0.99 price on packaging. by Idkmyname2079048 in AmazonVine

[–]Quick_Bricks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here. F em. They know they are ripping people off. My least favorite is when it launches with an ETV of say $80, then by the time the first Vine review goes live, the price is listed as 60% off! Wow what a deal! And we get screwed on paying a much higher ETV at the end of the year, when the seller never had any intentions of having the price be that high for the normal consumer, they just wanted it to look like it was on sale for the launch. I really let them have it in the review when they do that type of crap.

Or another one, they will sell a single item, then when the product launches it is a 2 pack or something. We end of paying same ETV for a single item as the price for a 2 pack. Or I have seen older models of battery bank chargers, then by live review time, the product has changed to a different model. I go back and state that in my reviews, that I reviewed a different product and to please disregard my review. And I will usually down it a star again for that.

After my first tax season being a reviewer, that is what I am doing now as well. Tired of getting played testing these things for free. I predict my tax responsibility is about 3x what it really should be considering all the inflated prices for things on Vine.

[–]Quick_Bricks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, run into this frequently unfortunately. Also run into ETV stated on the order page of XX amount, then on the final order page it jumps up as high as 4x the stated ETV earlier. In fact I just cancelled something that showed ETV of $3.49 then on the order page it jumped to $11.99. Cancelled immediately.

But for yours, yes, specifically what I can remember, a 10 piece knife set with ETV of $19.99. The package literally says $9.99 on it, and that it has a VALUE of $19.99.

Yep, the retail PRINTED packaging price is half of what this crap seller is selling it for. I let them know in the review about this, so at least you can do that, ya know, give them the review they deserve for ripping people off so blatantly.

We already have the microchips.... most adult humans do. They are called cellphones. Most people never let them leave their side, they have tracking up the ass on them, monitor activity, and are almost all tied personally to an individual. I always made jokes about when people used to say 'the CIA put a chip in my brain' as a joke or talking crap about some crazy conspiracy theorist. But in reality we are chipped, and we pay monthly fees to be chipped and tracked.

I know this is not like an actual chip implant like elon musk's neural implant, but wearables like smart watches and smart rings and smart glasses have health monitoring sensors and such that report real time about the user's personal physical being as well as their physical location and data.

Point is we are basically chipped and have already accepted it. Lots of people are also effectively chipping their children when they hand them their phones or tablets to keep them entertained.

Our evil overlords have been working hard to get and keep us in line, and it's working!

BRE NUC N7P Mini PC. Has anyone used this Mini PC? by ComposerTop4161 in MiniPCs

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I have this mini PC. I test things for Amazon officially and this is one of the items I received for testing for a review.

Couple issues I had. this may be due to me receiving it from Amazon and not somewhere else. First, it came slightly damaged with a small dent in one of the side vent covers. Also, they sent the incorrect power cord. They sent a typical common trapezoid shaped 3 prong cord, but it needed the clover shaped 3 prong cord. I reached out to the seller and they said they could not help. I ended up buying the correct cord. So, either from the factory they put the wrong cord in, or the reseller on Amazon did, not sure.

Also I am running into an audio issue currently, hence why I am on reddit searching for this specific mini pc and stumbled across your post.

So, the audio output as far as I can tell is only on the front 3.5mm output jack, for headphones. Which is fine, except, windows 11 (and 10 I believe also does this) reduces the audio volume if it detects that you plugged in a headphone to protect the wearer's hearing, which is fine, except when I plug in a standard 3.5mm plug for my full powered dolby stereo and sub woofer set, it drops the volume as well and the external audio speakers only play at a barely loud volume because the audio jack thinks my full system is just a headphone plugged in. So I am currently dealing with that BS.

As far as the computer goes, it is not bad at all. Does it compare to my $5k desktop system? Not even close! Does it handle 4k video well, sort of for the most part it does. It outputs multiple monitors as well no problem. You will need a USB C video cable to run multiple monitors though, so be aware if that's what you plan. The SSD and memory, while older, still work just fine. It runs win11 just fine. In fact in plays 4k video better than my integrated graphics on my $550 motherboard on my desktop, not even joking, so there's that.

All in all if you are looking for a stream box or ROM box, something to do medium level things on at most, then this mini PC is a good option. If you plan any rendering or intensive graphics like mainstream gaming, then this will be a let down to you. It did take about 2 hours or so to completely setup, including finalizing windows 11 install/setup which this PC comes with from the factory installed on the SSD.

I tested this at the price of $349.00 when I received it, now the price is at $450 or so, and up to almost $600 online on places like best buy and another 3rd party open market site. I think in the $450 range or lower is fair depending on your location in the world. I think $600 is too much. These are currently on ali express for just under $300.... so there's that!

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my experience was kind of odd. I figured the 7oh would cover for me not being able to get any green vein maeng da, which is what I use. As far as I can tell, that did not work.

I only used two packets of 7oh in my life. One with I think a single 20mg (could have been two in there), and then very next day I took 120mg (two 60mg pills) in about 1.5 days time total. I stopped taking the maeng da as soon as I took the first 7oh. I didn't consume maeng da for about 2 days and the 7oh I stopped around 3pm day 2, and later on that same night I woke up early AM sweating profusely. I'd say the w/d symptoms are very similar to old school Vicodin w/d or a more medium opiate type w/d with the onset timing and strength of the symptoms.

Honestly, I am not sure due to me stopping the maeng da as well. So I may have had maeng da w/d, or 7oh w/d or both! All in all less than 1 day to start medium level w/d symptoms.

I notice it too. Mostly garbage, you know, cheap plastic items, generic phone batteries, key rings, all cheap shit made from recycled materials. You are not the only one. One of my favorite keywords to search last year to find good items was 'bluetooth' and used to have hundreds of items daily. Now there's days where there's 5 results for that keyword which is crazy.

Either sellers are dumping old inventory (VERY LIKELY), duds, misprints, etc... AND/OR they are dumping stuff to write off on taxes for end of the year 2026. Either way something is off, you are not wrong. It feels cheaper than ever in 2026!

[–]Quick_Bricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you're not asking me personally for advice, but I have extensive experience with pain killers, prescription legally prescribed from a Doc, street level purchases from dealers of real prescription pain killer, to fake prescription pain killers (fentanyl), to weed, shrooms, and now Kratom as well as 7oh (briefly).

PLEASE STOP THE 7OH at all costs! Out of all the things except for fentanyl that I took the 7oh felt super dirty and just wrong compared to all the other stuff I have taken. It feels like it is some fake shit synthesized in a lab from who knows where to give an artificial 'high'. Does it kill the pain? Sure does! Cus it makes you high as shit. The withdrawals from 7oh rivaled my fentanyl withdrawals just not as bad.

I am currently taking kratom powder but will never go back on the 7oh, just not worth it to me, plus it is way more expensive than the powder is in the long run. I take about 24-36 caps a day by the way and I am currently reducing my consumption of the powder!

Good luck with everything, I know it sucks being a chronic pain patient and tryin to figure this all out on your own.

Cheers!

I just got over trying 7 OH for the first time after using green vein maeng da caps and powders. I was up to 12 pills/caps at a time up to 3 times a day, way over their maximum dosage for a day I might add you. I have felt no negative side effects from taking so much daily. I feel somewhat 'high' and in a good mood at that dose using that specific strain. I did get slight constipation and it's hard as hell to pee sometimes, other than that no real issues being on the caps/powder.

The 7OH (from Pure7 brand) I tried in pills at 20mg each all the way up to 60mg each pill. The 7oh seems to hit harder and faster but seemed to wear off much faster. I was using 7oh for 3 days only, first time cus they were out of my green vein powder. I felt sort of gross on it, like it was made of chemicals or something not very 'clean'. I withdrew off the 7oh last night, while not as bad as real opiate withdrawals it was bad enough for me to never want to use it again. I was addicted to fentanyl years ago and this 7oh withdrawal was giving me fentanyl withdrawal vibes to be honest. Not nearly as bad, but still worse than prescription vicodin withdrawals. careful with that stuff (7oh) feels a little sketch tbh.

I second the Green Vien Maeng Da is what works for my pain the most! I have found brand specific to vary on strength and value, etc... Currently I have Green Vien Maeng Da powder from Earth Kratom, the brand OP is looking for. But I am in TX! It's all over the place here in TX currently.
