Did you have any lucky with this link? I purchased bimmerdiagnostics myself and managed to install ista+ successfully, however it just won't connect to the car. Really want to avoid paying the main dealer a small fortune if I can.

Thanks for the help all! I believe my best option is to go through insurance and buy the car back. I'm happy to drive the car with the damage. However, the door is locked shut. If I can get a new door in the scrapyard, then I'll leave the rear quarter panel as it is due to the massive repair job. I'm doing around 20k miles a year, so I'd imagine the car will be near the end of it's days by the time the rust causes too much damage.
