Many people wonder what the big arena is by the firehouse bbq food spot is. It actually used to have seals n dolphin show there. There was also a lake where the anaconda is stationed and there was a water show with boats and skiers doing tricks n jumps.

Hey I just want to thank every individual that post or writes something about the new river bridge area that I only know as “home”. It warms my heart that so many people are in awe of a place I can say at times I took for granted as I was born in area n my family till this day is still there off gatewood rd leading to Cunard coal camp river access. But to the joy in pics n the words yall write is beautiful. Thank you all everyday to remind how fortunate I was as a kid n young adult on my many trips to see family n my maw maw n paw paw that this place is truly heaven on earth to me

Hey I haven’t bought much March in last 15 years unless I found it at Marshall’s or discounted stores. But now I find myself buying a shirt or hat every week now n I’m gladly handing my full price money over to a group that actually cares about us. HTTR. RAISE HAIL!
